This car has undergone a gorgeous frame off restoration and has had some great upgrades done as well. We will start off with the exterior of this Bel Air. This iconic body style is set off by some of the best body lines ever designed by Chevy.
As you can see with this car all the lines, gaps, and panel fit are some of the best you will see on a 57. The body is straight as an arrow and is covered in the Onyx Black paint scheme that has been buffed and polished to a deep shine thats slick as a ribbon.

Nice!
My favorite look is the two tone aquamarine/cream white.

What would the correct ignition timing be in a 57 Belair with a 327 engine and a four barrel carburetor?

3 degrees before top dead center, unless it has high-compression pistons.

I always preferred the 56 models myself.
There was enough room for 3 people in the front seat,
and 4 in the back.
Ok, two in the trunk if you were going to the drag strip.
Oh yeah, roll and pleat on the seats too.
and FLAMES !

The 1957 Chevrolet. The car I took the test in to get my driver's license.
Dad Had just bought it right off the showroom floor bright new and all shined up.
Good memories.

Other than the tricked out dressing (indicia, wheels, etc.), that is exactly the first car I remember my parents having.

I learned to drive on my Dad’s ‘57 Chevy, the standard model, not the Bel Air.
That car had the biggest steering wheel of any car I have ever driven.
I used to manage a resort hotel parking concession, so I am comparing the steering wheel to hundreds of different makes and models I drove over many years.

Isn’t this the National Car of Cuba?
