President Trump has retweeted a Breitbart News story headline about Facebooks blacklist of prominent conservatives including Paul Joseph Watson and Laura Loomer

I’m not one to have government interfere with private business but with the National reach of these social platforms as a form of communication it’s time to address this problem.
Remember when the left ‘hated’ censorship.
I agree.
The left has complete control over the internet.
The right, really, really needs to stand up now. Our side is way, way, way too compliant.
Ceding control over the entire educational system, the entire media (with some exceptions such as Fox), and our entertainment industry.
For real. Trump gets this, but it is not Trump’s job to fix this, our side really, really needs to stand up and do something.
The left has been running things for the entire last two generations at least. Maybe longer.
We mope and talk, while they continue to manipulate and control.
Twitter, Youtube and Facebook are now monopolies, but they are also utilities.
Could Verizon or AT&T cut you off from phone service if they didn’t like what you said? Make you a non-person?
They choose to be a platform when convenient, and a publisher when they choose. There are legal implications here that need to be dealt with by government, they don’t get to be both.
You mean Verizon and AT&T are listening to our phone calls?
</sarcasm>
The left does stuff. The right pouts.
Watson is only selected because he is effective.
Anyone who follows him knows he is not ban worthy.
Silicon valley is evil.
If not utilities, public accommodations.
And do what?
If there’d have been a Facebook in the 1930’s, Zuckerberg would’ve happily banned Jews and Kulaks.
There is that.
But the left no doubt runs huge sections of America’s media, and schools.
The left. For real.
Donate to Free Republic. This site has been the counter balance to Facebook for 20 years. It tosses out leftists and that is part of the reason it works so well .
Sometimes it's worse:
A LOT of "conservatives" actually welcome the losing process, not only because it feels familiar, like those old tennies you couldn't bring yourself to throw away.
Losing also provides an opportunity to BE BIG ABOUT IT, to lose GRACEFULLY, thereby gaining some kind of greater MORAL VICTORY (funny how the specifics always remain unstated).
It's totally ridiculous.
And lots of them will whip around and chide others into remaining quiet also, the better to teach them, ALSO, how to be really BIG about it.
Being BIG all the way into total oblivion, oh, thank you very much, it feels soooo great.
It’s political “white flight”.
Conservatives will just withdraw more from politics, and just worry about their kick-ass careers in the private sector, and meanwhile more and more territory gets ceded to the Left. Who wants to get their hands dirty?
Which is why Trump deserves every bit of support, even from those that may not care about his personal life.
He didn’t need this. And yet he’s willing to take it on.
Its past time.
They're colluding to rig the 2020 election.
This conspiracy started on November 9, 2016 - and there's a video by Dave McClure to prove it.
It is worse. Many of the political class are controlled opposition, well compensated by the CoC snd donors. For them, the pouting is an act.
Eric Cantor produced a verb by his defeat. The hinterland cheered. Is he suffering? No.
