After the Boomers Are Gone, the Bloodshed Begins
American Thinker ^ | 05/08/2019 | Cam Brown

The Boomer Age is drawing to its close. When one speaks of this group, it tends to mostly focus on white Boomers (not that others are outside the group, but to such a great extent, it really does mean those of mostly European background, if for no other reason than they have been the largest demographic group).

When that age does end, we will see an ever dwindling European demographic majority in many Western nations (Canada and the USA are almost certainly the first, soon followed by a variety of European nations). That significant point of majority will be fading, as the numbers precipitously drop until below 50%. The question looming then is, what is next? Will it be the glorious Brave New World of harmonious multiculturalism or an uneasy balkanization that trends ever more to tribalism and violence? Based on existing evidence and studies, I believe that it will be closer to the latter.

A major demographic shift is impacting most Western nations, some more than others. This shift will lead to a far more multicultural/ethnic scenario, with those of European background as the minority within the next few decades. At first blush, many will say this is not a problem, holding out the wonders of civic nationalism and existing relative stability and prosperity with an already highly mixed demographic.

The problem here is that this position doesn't really hold water in the long term, as can be demonstrated by existing nations who have not been able to sustain a similar state of peaceful existence and by studies that point in the same direction.

In the case of historical examples, we can point to places such as South Africa, Brazil, and the Rwandan and Yugoslavian debacles of the 1990s as a counterpoint to the belief in a multicultural paradise

That’s an interesting, and sobering, article.

But I wonder. If you put a python in with a mongoose, you can bet there will be bloodshed. But if you put a python in with a rabbit, the python simply eats the rabbit.

The majority of the word is relatively “uncivilized” as per the G7 standards.
You have a huge component of the backwards and barbaric word of islam, then a huge population of Chinese who do not have the hundreds of years invested in infrastructure to make invention and innovation possible... thusly,,,,,,,, both steal ideas. The Indians? Similar.

Nobody else developed liberty, rights and freedom: common and patent law.
This was a function of a very specific group of Christians (in decline) which Obama was at war with.

Given the nature of islam and their marxist muslim coalition, the outcome will be violent and bloody as the lights of liberty rights and freedom go out.

RE: The majority of the word is relatively “uncivilized” as per the G7 standards.

Well, the problem is this — we are IMPORTING a huge number of people from these “uncivilized” countries into this country.

Liberals love and push the concept of multiculturalism. Whenever they advocate their utopian ideas the opposite usually occurs. Just saying.

I wonder what makes the author to believe the boomers (and we gen x- ) will be allowed to dwindle first, rather than being treated to compulsory extinction in 2025 in order to speed things along?

And yes when we import their dirt and backwardness, its just like islam, they do not integrate and their numbers make it possible to have your Ilhans and Tlaibs et alone home grown idiots like AOC

THANKFULLY, at 72YO I likely won’t live to see the dissolution of my USA into “warring factions” & a likely long/bloody civil war that may follow but my beloved Darla & my daughter likely will live to see it.- I find that possibility just incredibly SAD.

Yours, TMN78247

A more accurate title would have been...

“we are IMPORTING a huge number of people from these “uncivilized” countries into this country.”

And also we taxpayers are paying their bills once they’re here.

“the more a nation’s ethnocultural homogeneity dissipates, the more its social capital and cohesion erode.”

One hardly needs a “study” to arrive at that conclusion.

Diversity is discord!

California has already arrived at the post-Boomer future.

Demographics are destiny.

The Republican Party stupidly cheers the transformation, imagining that the Replacement Americans will vote for them.

Of course they might, assuming that the GOP becomes indistinguishable from Obama Democrats. And GOP establishment PACs like the New Majority are helping that happen.

Neel Kashkari was the New Majority choice for Governor in 2014, and Kashkari not only had views that sounded like Obama, he had actually voted for him.

My most serious concern is the insanity of gender questioning seems to be completely embraced by the millennial generation. Those opposing this nonsense tend to be politicians and protestors in the boomer generation. For example, students in Alberta are protesting the new Premier’s plan to inform parents when high school students are invited to LGBT clubs. For the young people, REASON is no longer a part of their identity. It is all about people’s feelings and how you can’t deny a person who “feels” they are no longer a boy.
