I once opened a speech by confessing to a crowd of Jews that I used to hate them. It was 2006 and I was a young native of Somalia who’d been elected to the Dutch Parliament. The American Jewish Committee was giving me its Moral Courage Award. I felt honored and humbled, but a little dishonest if I didn’t own up to my anti-Semitic past. So I told them how I’d learned to blame the Jews for everything.
Fast-forward to 2019. A freshman congresswoman from Minnesota has been infuriating the Jewish community and discomfiting the Democratic leadership with her expressions of anti-Semitism. Like me, Ilhan Omar was born in Somalia and exposed at an early age to Muslim anti-Semitism.
Some of the members of my 2006 AJC audience have asked me to explain and respond to Ms. Omar’s comments, including her equivocal apologies. Their main question is whether it is possible for Ms. Omar to unlearn her evident hatred of Jews—and if so, how to help.
In my experience it is difficult, perhaps impossible, to unlearn hate without coming to terms with how you learned to hate. Most Americans are familiar with the classic Western flavors of anti-Semitism: the Christian, European, white-supremacist and Communist types. But little attention has been paid to the special case of Muslim anti-Semitism. That is a pity because today it is anti-Semitism’s most zealous, most potent and most underestimated form.

Good to see this posted on the WSJ. Most people don’t know how bad she really is and how much hate is in her heart.
Thanks to Trumps tweets, she can no longer lob hate bombs from behind the wall of the protection of her special “minority protected class” status. She has been exposed and it is ugly.

A democratic congressperson who is unable to overcome her individual attachments ‘to her original culture’ can’t work in a capacity to represent people outside her tribe.

During the Q & A a student asked why legislators are so weak when it comes to condemning Islamic aggression.
FEDERER responded, “3 Things.”
1. They are ignorant about the history of Islam.
2. They are afraid of Islam aggression.

Omar will never accept any morality outside of the Umma. She is a stne cold Muslim activist who wages her own personal jihad using t he American political system against itself.
The Great thing about Omar is that she is educating the American public why Muslim candidates from any party should not receive any vote to elect them. This is why she is so unpopular too.
No one will vote for a closet Muslim radical bent on destroying the Constitution and replacing it with Sharia law. Omar and her followers would not be happy until our country becomes a Muslim theocracy like Iran.That’s why she supports CAIR and disses Israel and Jews every chance she gets.
No more voting for people like Omar, she should not even be in our USA, she said she was married to her brother to get her green card, and lied about it on her application for citizenship.
