Dolphins drag British girl, 10, underwater during 'ethical' swimming experience in Mexico

Two bottlenose dolphins dragged a frightened schoolgirl underwater and left her injured after a swimming experience with the animals went wrong.
Lexi Yeo, ten, was in the water with the sea creatures at Dolphin Discovery in Cancun, Mexico, when they suddenly turned on her.
Her mother Laura-Jane Yeo watched in horror as the youngster was submerged during the TUI holiday.
She was eventually rescued from the sea pen when trainers grabbed her on her bodyboard.
Lexi suffered cuts, bruises and deep wounds after she was bitten by the dolphins.

I went swimming with dolphins in Hawaii...it was very cool! They are amazingly fast and their skin feels like slick hard rubber.

I recall a professor saying that we always hear stories about dolphins that drag drowning people to shore because the ones the dolphins drag away from shore are not around to report it. :/
Actually, I don’t think dolphins are that severe, but they are wild animals.

Mrs. L and I did one of those swim with the dolphins things on Roatan Island. They’re massive, powerful animals. While we enjoyed the experience I came away thinking that they could have killed us in seconds had they wanted to.

Most times they’re gentle but every now and then one flips out. Pretty much the same with most whales.

I do not understand why any parent would let their kids swim with dolphins who are unpredictable, let alone in an environment that's equally that.

How long since their last feeding? People forget Dolphins are carnivores too, just like us.
Maybe they were fighting over who’s lunch she would be.
All Dolphins are not like Flipper from the TV show.

We read about how dolphins rescue people from sharks or steer them back to land etc but what we do not read is all the swimmers and sailors who are killed by the dolphins for their amusement.
Sailor from ship sunk upon seeing fins: Sharks!! then they turn out to be dolphins. “Thank God it is dolphins!
The dolphins then push the sailor further out to sea..... : )
