While talking about the Supreme Court during the third presidential debate Wednesday night, Donald Trump mentioned comments made about him by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, using it as an example of why the next president’s ability to appoint justices will be so important.
Trump was referencing comments made by Ginsburg in July during an interview with CNN. You can watch the CNN report above.
“He is a faker,” the 83-year-old justice told CNN. “He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment. He really has an ego. … How has he gotten away with not turning over his tax returns? The press seems to be very gentle with him on that.”
She also criticized Trump in July interviews with the New York Times and the Associated Press.
Understanding the deep state. Justices are roped in too.
John Roberts is as deep state as it gets.
He took his appointment knowing he was a compromised puppet and has performed his corrupt duties well.

What a profound level of bias. There is no way she should sit in judgement over the President’s tax returns.
It’s outrageous that a Supreme Court Justice would make any comments - personal or political - about a President - sitting or retired. It displays the degeneracy of the American Left, and demonstrates why the sooner she departs this mortal coil the world will be a better place.

Responding to her comment: Vs the crapola that we have had to live with for the past 15+ years.

She certainly needs to recuse herself from any decision involving Trump.
In any other court, that would be grounds for recusal.

I’m going to give this as charitable a spin as possible.
Trump comes from the business world of NY real estate. There’s 1000 different moving parts. In many situations, you’ve got to make the best guess possible, particularly about the market, demand, etc... If you guess wrong, or things change, you have to change, immediately - or you will get destroyed. There’s plenty of room for ego about past success, but NO room for ego or ideology when involved in the market.
Bader Ginsburg and many people in Washington DC are exactly the opposite. They are married to ideas and ideology. The “real world” doesn’t affect them, and they face zero risk in their careers. Making bad choices doesn’t affect them. Most major policy choices are usually group-think decisions anyway, and only other people, far away bear, the brunt of those failures. Of course, it nurtures arrogance. They simply can’t grasp people like Trump.
This was said when he was still a candidate, before he was elected.
Not sure why it’s now being discussed as that concern woukd have been an issue for over 2 years now.
Comments were made summer 2016 - before election.
