Stunning the Navy authorized this? I guess the original Top Gun was great for Naval recruitment?
This also explains the fighter pilot face (stretched probably from all the extreme Gs ) that Tom seems to be getting lately.
Wonder how his inner Thetan handled the g-forces?
Wonder how his inner Thetan handled the g-forces?
Wow!
Sure it's ridiculous that thirty years later he's still flying fighters and is only a captain, but, hey, don't think about it too much!
Boy meets girl.
Boy gets girl.
Boy loses girl.
Boy loses best friend to horrific circumstances.
Boy gets girl back.
... and they all live happily ever after (except the one who died).
Samie-samie.
Tom Cruise is the one actor i give a pass to.
I really like most of his movies.
Weird because i like a lot of De Nero movies as well but i would have zero problem throwing that d-bag off of a tall bridge if i ever met the runt..
Regarding a post above yea i saw that headline about Cruise ditching Scientology in the supermarket.
I hope it’s true but i really can’t believe it.
Looking forward to this, but the timing just doesnt work. Pete Mitchell was probably commissioned in 1979-1980 and as a Captain, mandatory retirement would be 30 years, meaning retirement in 2009-2010. Interested to see if they backdate the story or go with the standard suspended disbelief since its Hollywood. Anyway, should be good fun.
Tom Cruise owns and flies a (2 seater) P-51 Mustang.
I watch his movies because he never pushes his political view. Based upon tidbits I think he leans conservative.
For this one they went all out because Top Gun was the single greatest recruiting tool the Navy ever had.
I heard a story some time ago that in this new movie the patches on the back of his jacket were changed so as not to offend China?
Something like that.
