Who in their right mind would say let me spend a small fortune to go see a movie with James Corden, Rebel Wilson and Taylor Swift? Taylor Swift will now play the victim, again, and blame white males for the movie’s failure.
The real question is how did Cats ever get popular in the first place? Really, it’s TERRIBLE. And yet it was huge. For decades. It’s good the world finally got sane about it.
The idea that people would spend $6.5 Million to see that Dumpster Fire tells me that this Country is in bigger trouble than I could even imagine.
Start with bad (and in the one song where it is good, unoriginal) material, give it a bad treatment, then lard it with stars who become easy targets.
