There is a lot of classic envy.

She is pretty and rich and there are those who want to see her brought down for those reasons.

Notice her husband does not get the same amount of bile spilled on him?

“I understand what they did was unethical, but the vindictive hatred for Lori Laughlin and the deep craving to see her utterly destroyed is interesting.”

Actually, it’s kind of fun to see that bunch suffer once in a while. They spend virtually all their time in public arena telling us Deplorables that we need to sacrifice, live like crap with criminals preying on us, and use government run health care. While, at the same time, knowing that they can simply BUY THEIR WAY OUT of anything they impose on us.

Nice to see them get their own form of ‘street justice’ for once...and hopefully, with some time to cool off in the can, they’ll come out a bit more humble (I know, I’m dreaming).

Who’s deserving child got bumped out of a desk because of her?

Probably one like my nephew's room mate.

His mother does ALL of his course work and since she is a teacher she gets sneak peeks at any tests to be given.

So I would not cry any sad tears over the "deserving child". They are the minority in any collage.

Well, unfortunately she made them madder by actually wanting a trial. Prosecutors hate having to actually do work, so they tend to throw the book at anybody who doesn’t give in to simple blackmail.

I thought we did not do the "group guilt" thing.

Apparently in this case it is ok.

Interesting.

I agree with your take on that.

Prosecutors wield incredible power over people. I’m not a big fan of how they use it at times.

I believe LL and her husband were/are donors to the GOP, too. Yeah; they’ll be made to suffer.

If college admission process was totally transparent, none of this would happen and everyone would be better served.

People may be thinking of all the really qualified kids who struggle like crazy to get into colleges and than these creeps jump the que

Same thing Elizabeth Warren did to get a teaching job at Harvard. But the liberals are OK with it.

Case in point from bgill's irrational nutso hatred:

Her association with Hallmark may be part of the liberal hate but conservatives are angry with her, too. I couldn’t stand her back during the original Full House days. Easy to see through her holier than thou facade. Who’s deserving child got bumped out of a desk because of her?

Your nutcake words speak for themselves, except to say that any kid too dumb to get into a public university is not the fault of Lori Laughlin.

That is why we have welding school.

It’s funny because she’s a celebrity but really just have her pay a fine and get this over with. She’s not a danger to anyone, no reason to put her in jail. We have actual treasonous deep staters who won’t even get prosecuted and we are worried about this

For entertainers...I make an exception regarding collective punishment. When they start supporting this country, I’ll start supporting them.

I am not sure why this is a criminal matter. She paid money to get her kid into a college. This kind of thing has been going on for decades. Rich people donate a building to a college and their kids get to go there. What actual law is violating?

But having said that if they find Lori Loughlin guilty of being a very naughty girl I hope they send her to my room.

“If college admission process was totally transparent, none of this would happen and everyone would be better served.”

Actually, this case may have had a positive impact on some colleges.

A granddaughter, who was graduated with highest honors from a top private high school, was unable to get into any California STEM schools. The reason supposedly was she made one B in her entire life.

We told her parents to try out of state schools. She was accepted at every out state college, many with some scholarship funding.

She was accepted at a premiere east coast college and got a $25k a year scholarship. She is finishing her 3rd year with a few B’s and the rest A’s.

Flash forward a year or so past this widely published criminal exposure even on FR.

This fall, her younger brother with more than one B got accepted at 9 engineering schools, including out of state schools with some financial help. He had not applied to 4 colleges which accepted him. Her SATs with the exception of a few points in the math test were higher than her brothers.

My wife discussed our two GK’s with a person, who helps kids get into colleges. My wife was told that due to this case, administrators are now scared and many have stopped the bs.
