She thought siccing a dog on a human being was a good idea. She did the crime and she did the time.
I remember her case. I supported her defense.
A burglary suspect fleeing the scene? Shouldn’t the cops be allowed to shoot them?
She used poor judgement in going to work for a filthy east coast democrat shithole but I’m totally cool with the dog thing.

Sounds like a BS charge. I’d be curious to see just who appointed the US Attorney who ordered the prosecution.
It should never have been a Federal case. DoJ was after a cop, any cop.

"But Mohr's version of how events played out didn't match the account of several witnesses. The officer who originally called for assistance, Sgt. Dennis Bonn, claims that the two men cooperated fully, climbing down from the roof with their hands in the air, and were peacefully standing there when the dog was released."

Murderers and rapists get fewer years.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
The prosecutor and judge in this case should be in prison for malicious prosecution.
White cop. Black perps. The answer is obvious.
The police have supported police officers on far more egregious actions.
How could her department let this happen to her?
From that article:
The officer who originally called for assistance, Sgt. Dennis Bonn, claims that the two men cooperated fully, climbing down from the roof with their hands in the air, and were peacefully standing there when the dog was released.

If Officer Bond’s statement is true, then Mohr deserved a conviction and a couple years probated NOT 10 years. Remember, the guy the dog attacked was not seriously hurt either.
You have to read the entire article. She was tried 5 years after the incidence for violating this guys civil rights and they had to go after in two trials before she was convicted. So it was a BS case to begin with.
