Say what you want about Shatner being a ham (and let’s face it.. there’s a lot to be said) but he could really sell those moments when he had to stand silently and react to horrow and tragedy with just his facial expressions. Sure he’s a ham but back then at least he knew when and how to reign it in to great effect.

One of the oldest known languages is Sanskrit.

But they must know as soon as they put on the red shirt that they’re expendable. Someone else has to be left alone on guard duty with a dangerous alien stalking nearby so that the series doesn’t lose regulars.
Damn! I was thoroughly entertained for a change. WEll done sir. Your focus proves (to me) that Shatner is a far better actor than he is given credit for.

Nice! Now that I’m an old lady, I look back on Shat and think, WOW that guy was freaking hot!
I knew from the title it would be one of your videos, though I haven’t seen you in a while. I’ll watch later. Let us know, in the meantime, if the new Picard show is good or if it truly is anti-conservative as Patrick Stewart suggested. I may give it a try if you like it.
