Someone who gives a crap might check the poll against Corona beer sales. If sales are suffering, maybe die hard Corona drinkers can stay home, quarantine themselves and make up for any loses after going to the store.

It’s fake news. Most of the 38% would not buy Corona under any circumstances. Only 4% confuse Corona beer with COVID-19.

The only time I can think of when Corona killed, was back in the late 1960s, early 1970s when Juan Corona murdered 25 or more farm workers.
What I would say, as CEO of Corona:
The Coronavirus has nothing to do with Corona beer, and for the 38% of Americans who claimed they won’t buy the beer because of the name, I say how the hell stupid can you get?
Personally, I think the survey is useless. If you call people and bother them with your phone call at inopportune times, and ask them “Would you stop buying Corona beer because of the Coronavirus” the people will understand that THAT is what they are supposed to think, and answer yes.
I’m buying a 6 pack tomorrow.
