Yes.
We have bought several for under that and turned them into rental properties.
They are not in the best part of town but after they were cleaned and touched up they were pleasant places to live.

That’s why I buy cars generally in white or black, no metallic. Still get the paint professionally mixed, but can easily apply and blend it myself. Do have one “colored” vehicle, a gold-mist van, and with professionally-supplied paint did manage to blend a small mid-bumper repair successfully.

Exactly, and both sides know it’s gotta get fixed and it ain’t gonna be for free :). Which means that the vast majority of the time it gets worked out - between parties that have both mutual and conflicting objectives.
