Significant number of cases in Queens (Koreans and Chinese), Brooklyn (Chinese) and Manhattan (Chinese). Much fewer cases in Bronx (Hispanic and Black) and Staten Island (Italian). This really isn’t that hard to figure out what is going on in NYC.

No it doesn’t. This is flat lie. Everyone has the same opportunity to catch the virus. But the severity of the illness is determined by the health and age of the patient.
If you have a patient between 18 and 49 that has asthma, heart disease or is diabetic, if that patient stays indoors, and has no contact with anyone until this virus runs its course, they will not get the disease. If you have a person between 18 and 49 that goes out and has close contact with people, they stand a far better chance of getting the virus but a better chance of a lesser effect. It’s this type of manure that scares people for no reason.
Furthermore, it indicates that Cuomo and his staff have done a terrible job of passing information and protecting the people in the state. He ought to be screaming at the Business Insider demanding they retract the column. Unless they are telling the truth as he told them.

Do not get hung up on age. Age is not the factor, strength of the immune system is.
By lumping numbers into “from 18 to 49” they hide how many are “18 to 20”, “21 to 29”, “30 to 40”, “41 to 48”.
It is an intentional dodge to hide the fact that older folks with already stressed or compromised health become the majority of the most severe Cov-19 patients.

What is happening is that tons of people get this, like the flu, but effectively only people with other serious health problems die from it.
