I am just arguing the military aspect. America still has considerable military in Italy and a component of the military that strictly has a mission of NBC especially bio-terror. What are they doing? What has ,specifically our bio-terror units/labs/scientists, done since the past epidemics and threats? I pretty much surmise that government has pretty much failed society especially the military which is PARALYZED by the virus which is scary.

The military is following the orders of the governments, as usual.

If there are no orders, they are sitting on their asses. In this position bi-terror specialist are no better than any other uniformed or non-uniformed people.

So... not a failure of any army... but at some point, in some countries, army may decide to take over. Because they have to.

Though there is much distrust with Russia from the past as well as recent past because of what the old Soviet State and President Putin said and what they did, along with the remaining allied ties they maintain with US declared terrorist states/regimes and enemies... give it a rest.

I will speak in general terms... I’m 62 and see Russia and its peoples as humanitarian, humble when called out, moral, good-willed, hospitable and generous. There are still remnants of the old Soviet order who long for the old days of power and aggression. Soon they will fade away. Putin is there best man to transition from a post Soviet Russia of chaos to economic stability, open markets, travel and trade with the world. I’ve been to Russia twice... beautiful country, cities and peoples.

But it’s definitely the Liberals that see/use Russia as the old Soviet Union straw-man to use against conservatives/Republicans when wanting to open up better relations/trade with Russia.

Putin/Russia-peoples help is much appreciated. Everyone knock off the cynical thoughts, suggesting ulterior motives, and clandestine intentions behind Putin’s moves/response.

I would be more worried about what the government of Italy may ultimately do.
