The first case of the Wuhan Virus in the US is thought to be on January 19, 2020 when a 35-year-old man showed up at an urgent care clinic in Snohomish County, Washington. In New York, it was a woman in the last week of February. Now, many are saying that the Wuhan Virus had been around earlier and in greater numbers.
During the second week in March, colleges began closing and sending students home. I present this timeline to show how they may have already been widely infected, including the spring breakers.
Mid December 2019 - Winter semester ends at most colleges. Students head home, including international students who can afford the airfare.
Students home for winter break in China, especially the Wuhan area, pick up the Wuhan Virus. Asymptomatic, they are carriers.
On or about January 21 2020. Spring semester begins. International students who went home are back.
Last week in January through mid March 2020. The Wuhan Virus spreads on campuses. Symptomatic cases are treated as just the flu, bro.
Mid March 2020. Students head home, bring the Wuhan Flu with them. Some head off to spring break, further spreading the virus among themselves,
I suppose we will never know how this would have all turned out if colleges held their students for another week or two.

My niece is a respiratory therapist and travels all over the world giving speeches about it... She came back from China in early November and was sick for 2 weeks with something that tested negative for the flu. She is normally always very healthy and rarely gets sick, mid 40’s and said she was sure she was going to die from whatever she had.
I am in Georgia and my son and I got really sick at the end of February and the doctor prescribed Z-Pak. We are much better and staying safe.
January 29 I went to the doctor with Wuhan plague symptoms, including fever. The doctor performed a negative flu test and diagnosed pneumonia in one lung. Who knows, but there were many in my immediate family with similar symptoms during a two week period there. The first confirmed case in Kentucky occurred 5 weeks later, 30 miles from me.

In November was she in N. California?
I believe Nov to be the month for start of covid in northern CA.
Anyone that is allergic to penicillin (myself) has probably taken a Z-Pak a number of times in their life. I’ve taken a Z-Pak at least three times and once as a prophylactic when I had four wisdom teeth pulled in one visit -not fun.

I feel the same based on my illness during that time and what happened afterwards to family and friends.
The last thing the colleges wanted was a bunch of sick kids on their campus. Get them out of there; put the risk, care, and liability on someone else.

Not sure, I don’t think she was... but are there many direct flights from Phoenix to China?? I think we almost have to connect through California going to Hawaii or pay twice as much, I know our trip in Sept. leaves from Oakland assuming this is all over by then. I will have to ask her now out of curiosity. Seems like I remember Trump’s Asian trip stopping over in Alaska??
