“The overall flu-related hospitalization rate in the United States is 41.9 cases per 100,000 people, which is similar to what has been seen at this time during recent seasons, the CDC reported.
“The percentage of deaths attributed to flu and pneumonia currently is 6.8%, which is below the epidemic threshold of 7.3% , according to the CDC.”
I also read that nicotine has shown promise. Could alcohol be on the horizon?
"Dysarthria is a motor speech disorder resulting from neurological injury of the motor component of the motorspeech system and is characterized by poor articulation of phonemes. In other words, it is a condition in which problems effectively occur with the muscles that help produce speech, often making it very difficult to pronounce words."
[Sounds like the name of a porno movie.]
I think it's what you do in the swimming pool on the Diamond Princess.
I have found that cigar therapy by itself is only marginally effective unless you combine it with good bourbon.
Is that really the patient the article is referring to?
She’s young, but obviously obese, and we continue to hear that obesity is a big common denominator in younger people who are affected badly by this virus.
Who gives a shit? Tomorrow there will be fifty more stories about slap-dash “studies” with fifty eight more things the virus does or doesn’t do, not one of them reproducible.

Twinkies have....
The point is ... what this particular virus wreaks on a human body is correlated to the ACE2 receptor sites which are all throughout the body, especially the organs and blood vessel linings. If this is not the mechanism of the previous virus like Sars-covid and H1N1 then we are dealing with a much more deadly virus. That’s why some care how these viruses differ.
Exactly.
People don’t know that in some cases flu or cold can do unusual things, even cause birth defects, for example.
Maybe by “previously healthy” they mean....when she was a child?
Unreal that they would attempt to classify her as such.
Another concern troll.
There are so many of you.
You’re tripping over one another.
As the guy said, Good day, sir! Have another drink
Im currently in the alcohol and tobacco study. Going on 7weeks now. So far it prevents COVID-19.
Honestly is there anything the dark side and the media arent trying to tie to COVID? Hang nail... grease burn... acne?
I had a Co-worker who passed away 3/21 after having sents put in. That was after a triple bypass last year that failed. Under new guidelines shed have been classified as a COVID death despite the fact that shed been in poor health for the last 8 years and with type 1 diabetes on top of that.
I know its serious but this is way out of hand. Its like the people who are using this manufactured crisis have doubled down on the fear mongering because people are getting woke.
It’s not surprising some of these young people are having issues once they get this disease. Some of them are just unbelievably obese for their age. It’s sad, but it’s going to cause them all kinds of problems going forward, not just with COVID infections. They could not have expected to live long healthy lives by any means.
Its .07%
