There’s no ice on the pond.
I used to be a rabid hockey fan. Over the last several years, my interest has waned. I didnt even realize they had played any games this year. I suspect that hockey is probably the most patriotic of the National sports. I have given up on the NHL and MLB.
Hey, at least there’s hockey! And they tested 800 people and get ZERO positive results!
Probably wo t have to worry about players going out to a strip club either!
Me too. Ive also given up on the NFL.
I watch golf. Boring, you say? Try to hit a couple of good golf shots and see how challenging it is, and by extension how good these professionals really are.
Last week, Werenski, who was in contention for the win during the final round, was wearing a wrist band. You could see it in a few close ups.
It said, Blue Lives Matter.
Enough said.
Rangers vs Islanders tonight. Im going to enjoy this.
OOPS! I meant NFL........
If you see any leftist pandering, please let us know.

Will just have to look to my left. The wife will be watching with me. I get that leftist pampering.
Flipping through the on-screen channel line-up, I saw the Hurricanes and Capitals game on the NBC sports channel was getting ready to start. I clicked it on out of curiosity but got the message that the game wasn’t available in my area. Huh? I always thought they did that so people are more inclined to buy tickets to the home game. From my understanding, the game was in Toronto and they aren’t selling tickets anyhow. Why wouldn’t they make the game available in the area of one of the participating teams?
No biggie, just curious. My day was not ruined
Go Boston Bruins!
Saw the arena going up next to the Belmont Track in NYC.
The Saturday of the Belmont Race.
Having hockey playoffs at this time of year is just wrong.
And so was the way the Wings played this year. Really wrong.
You’re in the Carolina area so there must have been a station covering the game.
Right now its scrimmages but once the playoffs start it will be on NBC or NBCSN.
And there’s always a feed somewhere on the internet. We have a VPN so we can find a bootleg feed.
But I’m a hockey junkie.
I was looking forward to the Rangers-Islanders game tonight. Then I saw the teams line up in “SOLIDARITY” for the anthems. As of now hockey has joined my no watch list. I will miss seeing it much more than I miss the other sports that I no longer watch.
GOODBYE HOCKEY!!!!
original buckeye.
See my post #17.

If they didnt kneel and stayed still for the anthem, Im good with it.
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that sports clubs long established should not be dumped for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience has shown that mankind are more disposed to watch their team do stupid things, while stupidity are sufferable, than to right themselves by dumping the team to which fans are accustomed.
But when a long train of kneeling and virtue signaling, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such clubs, and to provide new sports for their future entertainment.
Hockey isn't there...yet...so for now I haven't gone full abandonment. Go Flyers!
