Sky News story about Turkeys COVID Detectives by special correspondent Alex Crawford is remarkable. It not only covers the track and trace teams in action in Turkey, but also the therapeutic approach, which relies on hydroxychloroquine as a first step to treat symptomatic patients.
The Turkish approach is at odds with most countries, such as the UK, where symptomatic patients are asked to stay home, wait, until the symptoms essentially become unbearable, and then serious complications and hospitalization become very likely.
Such reporting about early treatment is typically absent from mainstream media coverage, so this coverage needs to be celebrated. The pictures are also remarkable.
“As soon as a patient has symptoms, they are treated with hydroxychloroquine tablets and/or favipiravir at home. Follow-up calls quickly spot if the symptoms worsen, and then they will be admitted to hospital.”
“Once at the hospital, Dr Yiyit says the treatment is increased and combined with high-flow oxygen treatment, anti-coagulants, steroids, vitamins and more high-dose favipiravir or hydroxychloroquine…”
“Most of patients recover in five days,” Dr Yiyit insists.”
See below graphs contrasting the US and Turkey – showing how Turkey has contained the spread of the pandemic and achieved much lower fatalities per million inhabitants than the US.
Here is an idea: what about the US and other countries still fighting COVID-19 to adopt the Turkish strategy?
Post Script
Sky News written reporting is pretty remarkable, covering how early outpatient treatment is implemented in Turkey. But what about their TV program? Not a word about it, even if it’s critical in their strategy! Disinformation follows information. Very disappointing.
Ping as per your request
My God is Turkey really handling this better than we are?
How depressing.
Is the WHO driving them crazy?
Kind of makes you think a cabal of certain groups of people want Americans to DIE!!
I believe this warrants a Full Scale Criminal Investigation into all the parties involved in this mass killing
The WHO was forced to back off its attempts to BAN this treatment by the number of countries who told them to FO because they were going to continue using it
And then there was the DR rebellion against the WHO-run trial that was prescribing TOXIC doses to discredit the drug...forced the WHO to drop the study
Hate to say but I would feel safer getting this disease in a country like Brazil, India, or even China...than in the US or UK. A country that TREATS early and without bureaucracy,
Given what they are finding out about the possibly permanent damage this disease causes to young people with seemingly mild cases....it is infuriating that frontline medicine in the US is take tylenol and stay home...call us when you cant breathe
How incredibly depressing. It makes me fear for the older folks in my family.
I don’t think this is one of the reasons but millions of older people dying would save a lot of social security money. And Medicare money
I think it’s being done just to destroy the country.
The jury is not out. It works great. No side effects. Free
Problem is ONLY demoncrap misinformation. Nothing more
Calling False Fauci, please pick up the white courtesy phone.
Media last year: Muslims are more enlightened than non-Muslims. Centuries of math and science.
Now: Buncha goat-herding knuckle-draggers who marry their siblings
You can help by giving them scientific evidence of how this drug combo actually works against viruses. So they understand what all the fuss is about. This is an incredibly informative medical lecture from a series of great lectures by Dr Been

Then if the time comes and their DRs refuse to treat an informed patient, have a backup plan, such as a TeleMed practice they can consult. Yes they may have to pay $60-$100 out of pocket. Follow Dr Zelenko on twitter or parler if they censor him...for a referral
Also have them BOOST their Vitamin D3, Vitamin C, zinc, and quercetin...daily prophylaxis. Must consult Dr to make sure no adverse interactions of OTC supplements with their prescribed drugs
India is handling it better.
Deaths are lower because they didn’t force their most vulnerable to be exposed in nursing homes.
Does anyone know if Turkey and India include Zinc in their regimens? I’ve heard certain countries get sufficient zinc in their normal diets, so I’m curious how this plays into their success with HCQ.
Seems Turkey has a winning program.....Just don’t let the gov’t pull a Cuomo.....

We have physicians in all 50 states that will consider HCQ for the COVID crisis.
Thank you!
HCQ is available in the US and any doctor can prescribe it for off label use because it is already approved by the FDA. The problem is entirely political.
The FDA revoked its EUA based on the fraudulent Lancet study that showed HCQ caused heart problems. The study was retracted but the FDA never reinstated the EUA. Based on this 46 state governors issued public orders banning pharmacies in their state from filling the doctor’s legal prescriptions.
President Trump should issue an executive order allowing pharmacies to fill the prescriptions immediately before we lose another 70-80,000 lives because of TDS.
Im sorry, that’s not allowed to be true.
