The article is more focused on the fact that you’re a slave when you depend on the state for essentials. And they have a political motive to tie payments to compliance.
I’m so sick of posting about this idea. It’s essentially a scheme to take all the money that someone earns and give it to those who don’t feel like working. Soon the ones working give up, and everyone is poor.

Universal basic income is called the Dole. And its an antifa dream come true. It lets people commit any crime and not worry. They have the time. They are not worried about an arrest record. They just do what they want. You can’t hurt them. England tried it. They stopped it. Crime went way down.
