I have been posting on this for years that the sun was setting farther north in the summer and farther south in the summer. This has been cased on me seeing the sunsets and rises from the same porch for 66 years. Of course I didn’t know what I was talking about... my tinfoil hat was too tight. Explains a lot about hot summers and cold winters. The earth wobbles on it axis from it 21+- degrees. A spinning top starts to wobble as it slow down.
The southern hemisphere is cooler by latitude than the northern hemisphere, due at least in part to the aphelion / perihelion — the Earth is closest to the Sun in the middle of the northern winter, making for warmer summers and cooler winters in the south, vice versa in the north. Also, most of the dry land is north of the Equator. And just to really have some fun, there’s stuff like this:
