My thoughts exactly.
Without seeing it, I would think Savage is being a bit of a turd. I would think Rush would have preferred not to lose it on air (if he did) but Rush, like all of us, is human.
He will have good days and bad days as he ponders his time left in this wonderful world that he has enjoyed.
Could have just been a bad day. Being gracious to someone in that position having a bad day is a sign of a good person.

It sounds like it, yes. Although I admit I laughed when
Savage called him “Hush Bimbo.” (In reference to his refusal to say anything critical of George W Bush) - I don’t think there was any sexual reference.
