"The achievement represents the first successful attempt to reverse glaucoma-induced vision loss, rather than merely stem its progression, the team said."

Perhaps they should have added the words "using this method". I've found some surprising articles on the benefits for vision of supplements like fisetin and quercetin. E.g.

Fisetin rescues retinal functions by suppressing inflammatory response in a DBA/2J mouse model of glaucoma

It would be nice to see properly again, without using stem cells.

I would really like to meet the people who want to live on this planet for forever.

Are their lives so wonderful that they want to keep spending every day the same way?

I don’t think that there really are a lot of people who want every day to be the same as today and to have that go on for forever.

I do think that there are a lot of people who are afraid of dying and death.

What will they miss out on?

What if there really is a hell?

Fear.

If they can regenerate dead or dying nerve cells in the eye with new nerve cells, this would be miraculous.

Lots of deep subjects on FR today.

Are there too many people?

Can people live for forever?

Do these pants make me look fat?

Great. Now they’ll engineer hamsters that can live 20 years, instead of the usual two.
