Imagine if conservatives disengage
American Thinker ^ | 23 Dec, 2020 | Rick Hayes

Not a single court in the country has allowed the evidence of the possible theft by Democrats of the 2020 presidential election to be heard.

Not a single major newspaper, outside the New York Post, has questioned Joe and Hunter Biden and Communist China's business dealings. Nor have they earnestly reported on or even taken the alleged allegations of voter fraud seriously.

Over the past several years, Congress has conducted more than a dozen significant investigations into unlawful activity against conservatives by the Democrat party. Not one has resulted in any form of punishment or reform.

The Department of Justice has disappeared, and the FBI is nonexistent concerning crimes against conservatives.

As a result, what is transpiring in the country could be a dangerous recipe for explosive civil unrest and extensive systemic disorder — not the recent Antifa or BLM kind of violence, but the Gettysburg type. Based on the past actions by those on the right, this level of violence will hopefully never occur.

More and more conservatives are voicing their opinions regarding the presidential election outcome. They are stating, in large numbers, that if the flagrant theft of the election is allowed to stand, it will be their last election.

That might seem like a good thing to those on the left, but they should be careful what they wish for.

One way to protest is no guilty verdicts. Only not guilty or hung jury verdicts. Shut down the entire court system.

Everyone I know is pretty willing to drop the Republican party if Trump does not win to go to whatever party Trump creates.

The GOP should go the way of the Whigs.

We would have one major party.
And we should all sign up as Democrats and just push that one party hard right.

Huh? What "past actions by those on the right" is he talking about?

As for "Gettysburg type" of action, not going to happen or even needed. Unlike the First Civil war, you don't need to line up armies on the battlefield, just cut the power and water to their cities and they will quickly turn on each other and the trucks will stop delivering and they will starve. We win without firing a shot.

Don’t be silly.
That’s what the Left wants.

Riiiight.
You’re going to push the party that ignores its own voters to pick a presidential candidate to the right?

If an election cannot be conducted in a civil way, the future will not be civil.

The chaos will engulf cities first—just where Democrats will be killing Democrats.

The rest of us can sit back and wait for survivors to straggle out and if they are physically malicious toward us, handle these exceptions.

Agenda 21 and Democrats helped bring their own future to them, first, while all along they were most impacting conservatives.

We can all stay peaceful and pull marshmallows out of our basements as liberals fight liberals.

What options so we have?

Let’s re-invigorate in the GOP! We can win big in 2024!
“That’s hopeless! Republicans will never win again in this rigged system!”

Let’s abandon the GOP! Let’s start a new party!
“That’s hopeless! Third parties never win!”

Let’s join the Democrats! Let’s steer them to more reasonable, pro-American policies!
“That’s hopeless! You’re going to push the party that ignores its own voters to pick a presidential candidate to the right?”

If the political process is totally hopeless, then I guess a hot Civil War is our only hope?

Replying to statement title makes: CONSERVATIVES DID DISENGAGE AGES AGO...

Why do you think most all large cities are run by Dims? Education systems? City/County commissions?

Unless conservatives ENGAGE the systems we are doomed—it may be too late.

One way to protest is no guilty verdicts.

The courts lose power and authority when they can't get convictions. Such was the foresight of our Founders. Vigilantism follows. Not a good solution but inevitable without the rule of law.

“Imagine if we disengaged? I already have.”

You mean to say you no longer intend to contribute to Republican candidates, actively participate in their campaigns, rally friends and relatives to vote, and make sure you’re at the polls casting your ballot on Election Day?

Gosh, I just can’t imagine why not./major sarc

You are on the right track with those thoughts. I think we have the truckers on our side. The cities (those blue pinpricks on the electoral map) are highly vulnerable.

Unfortunately, it is looking that way.
Geez, I don’t want that.
If Trump pulls this out, he will the US’s greatest President, ever.
