The PGA of America will strip Donald Trump of the 2022 PGA Championship, which is scheduled to be held at Trump National Bedminster golf club in New Jersey.
In a blistering column that says the golf world must sever all ties with Trump, Golfweek’s Eamon Lynch said the PGA has been debating for two years the need to move the major championship and, once Trump is out of office, will announce the tournament will be played elsewhere:

First the PGA Gave Bill Clinton the special Distinguished Service Award because he kited them a big check from teh money his wife made selling influence as Secretary of State.
Then they completely knuckled under to Black Lives Matter and held silent memorials with delayed broadcasts after a thug ended up dead after confronting police.
Now this! Severing ties with a President who has done as much for the sport as almost anyone since Palmer and Nicklaus.

Add the PGA to my list of sports that are on my forever “Pay No Mind” list.
Obviously, ticket sales are of no great importance to the PGA. I don’t think I will be going to the tournament this year, anyone else feel the same way? Oh...and I am going to bet the TV ratings will be right there with the NBA.
