Back around 2015 I was living near Atlanta GA and put a 20 year old Japanese Browning A5 12 gauge up for sale on a Georgia website. I made clear I would only sell to GA residents with a valid GA driver’s license.
I got a call from a guy near Louisville KY who offered to make the 800 mile roundtrip drive, and pay full asking price. The gun was in good shape, but a used Jap A5 12ga isn’t rare at all, and isn’t a collector’s item by any means.
Pretty sure the guy was with ATF. A real hunter living in Louisville could easily find a used Jap A5 12ga. The guy made it clear a couple of times that he was from out of state, I’m sure so there would be no doubt when the recording was played back in court.

I had a couple ATF agents show up at my house one day. Seems a gun I had sold made the rounds and ended-up going from FL to NJ where it was used in a crime. I did nothing wrong and helped the agents as far as email trail from the initial sale.
Person to person sales are not illegal in all states. I have been professionally associated with firearms for more than 40 years. I keep track of the federal laws and the gun laws in my state of residence. Where I live person to person sales are totally legal.
The true and provable facts per the FBI online data banks, is that red america really does not have a significant gun problem. Young black males, democrats per Obama’s words, living in the inner city democrat long term governed cities make up 3.5% of our population but commit more then 53% or all annual gun homicides and firearms assaults in our nation every year. This statistic has been true each and every year for over 20 years.
The remaining gun violent crimes are spread out very thinly over the other 96.5% or our population and over 98% of our land area.
In Reality, again provable with the published FBI factual data, there are now around 20 states, (this rate is growing as I type), who have “constitutional carry laws”. All of these states have a much, much lower rate of gun crime and firearms violence then the big democrat run states and cities who have the strictest gun control laws.
Let me clearly define “constitutional carry”. First you have to be of an age defined by that particular state and not have a felony or violent misdemeanor criminal record. After those requirements are met, citizens of that state, and within that state, are authorized per US constitution 2A, the unrestricted carry of legal firearms, in that no permit is required, for open and/or concealed carry.
Constitutional carry equals less gun crime and firearms violence. This is a easily provable statement of fact.
The gun grabbers and those who support more gun control are trying to fix a problem that does not even exist for more than 95% of America/Americans. Basically they have to lie like a rug to try and define a need for more gun control.

Those people selling guns as a vendor at a gun sale are FFL, (Federal firearms license) holders and the same paperwork is filled out and the same state and federal laws are strictly followed. Lets review now again proposed “assault weapons ban”.
First that term was designed by the press and the lefty politicians to indicate that these are military firearms. They are not, and again the left has to lie to imply that they are.
The AR platform rifles are nothing more than Modern Sporting rifles. AR platform modern sporting are a very commonly owned rifles with somewhere around a hundred million of them being legally owned by upstanding American citizens. AR-15 type rifles are widely utilized for recreation, self defense, and have been used almost exclusively in many of the top rated center fire rifle sporting competitions in our nation for decades.
An assault rifle is selectively fully automatic, (as in machine gun) and semi automatic, which means one discharge per trigger pull.
The AR-15/10 platform is a semi auto only modern sporting rifle that resembles the M-16 assault rifle that is used by many militaries today but the AR does not fire in a fully automatic mode. It is impossible for any AR ever sold to the public to fire as a machine gun without additional highly illegal and strictly controlled parts or unless the lower receiver is completely stripped and illegally re-manufactured as well as changing out the complete bold assembly in the upper receiver. I learned this while attending a house college gun smithing program and from building many AR-15’s. I know exactly what I’m talking about and I recognize the lies of the left every time I hear them.
Every Rifle on the open market today resembles some military rifle, the military rifle of its time. This is not at all saying that they function the same, only that firearms are almost always innovated for military application first then adapted to civilian laws for civilian sales.
Just like every semi-automatic rifle, bolt action rifle, single shot rifle, pump action and lever action rifle on the market today or residing in the hundred million homes across our nation, the AR simply resembles the military rifles of their time but does not function as it’s parent military rifle does.
This is not a new concept. The AR platform rifle is just a newer rifle that represents the technological and ergonomic advancement of firearms in our modern times. Bluntly it does not function as an M-16 rifle does, it only looks like the M-16. How a rifle looks in no way defines its function or its intended use.

As my last point to those who believe that new gun control laws will stop the gun death experienced in our nation.
First, the punks on the street in Chicago and Boston ignore all laws and they will also simply ignore any new laws as well. Some one who does not obey not murdering others will never obey gun control laws. They do not obey the gun control laws that exist now and will not in the future.
Mass shootings will not be effected by new gun laws being proposed today.

The vast majority of killers in mass shooting situations obtained their firearms and ammo under the laws that are now being proposed for entire nation, IE background checks ect. These laws already exist in several states.
We are talking about more than 80% obtained of these mass shooters obtained their weapons and ammo under these exact same laws that already exist in some states. Proof positive that these gun control laws did not work.
In the rest of the mass shooting events within the last 30 years in the USA, the firearms involved were stolen or obtained illegally by someone committing a felony to get their hands on them. Illegally also includes the several times they were obtained by murdering a friend or family member who had purchased the firearms legally.
In the low single digit incidence of mass murders not covered above, the firearms were obtained via the resources of organized crime. You are very involved in the reality of self delusion and wishful thinking if you believe any new gun control laws will inhibit organized crime in any way.

Mexico has very oppressive and strict gun control laws but the violent organized crime cartels rule that country with force and fear that is backed by their massive volume of illegal firearms.

I hate ridiculous laws as much as the next person but keeping a cell phone number from one state when you move to another state is in a lot of ways so confusing.
My husband came home from the hospital two weeks ago and I had to leave so many messages for caregivers and Hospice and did not answer ANY that weren’t from our area code. I missed some that I really needed information from. One woman who came to the house told me that she’d had her out of state number forever and she wasn’t about to change it. I told her I don’t answer phone calls from unfamiliar area codes that show on caller ID without a name. She said it was just too difficult to change.
Consider how confusing it can be also when investigating crimes. A number or phone picked up in one state belonging to a person who lives 2500 miles away. Where do you start looking for the perpetrator? Glad it’s not my job - I have a hard enough time running the world!

People don’t understand. This is not a small clique of Americans who came together ten or even twenty years ago to try and get power.
We are facing a foreign intelligence network formed by elites whose names we do not even know at our level, with resources as great as or greater than the United States proper, and they have spent at least a century using the intelligence services and private sector intelligence assets over seas they had already conquered, infiltrating our entire society. If you are reading this, it is overwhelmingly likely they have a residence in your neighborhood, with assigned watchers inside, who look on the surface like normal residents, complete with 9-5 jobs. But inside that house they have been assigned a sector of your neighborhood, or maybe the entire neighborhood if it is smaller, with the objective of getting to know everyone in it personally. You may never have seen them, but they have listened inside your house, even if you never bought an Alexa, or other device. They have CIA-level tech, and may have hacked the mic on your laptop, or even had pole tech installed that can hear in your house. For them houses in their neighborhood are like radio stations, and they spend most of their free time scanning the frequencies, looking for anything interesting. Some of us get a lot more attention than others.
Their kids are attending surveillance camps, and getting trained up in all the tech and techniques, and they are acting as informants on your kids in school, building out their files before they even graduate high school. Every school has them.
Gangstalking is where immature locals decide to harass people with these powers because they get cocky, but everyone gets this type of coverage for a little while at some point in their life. It is just done covertly, and it gets added to your file. If you are not a problem, like most people, it moves on and checks back in periodically to confirm nothing changed. But if you are here, chances are it has judged you a problem. It even has its people here, acting just like us, and you may even recognize the Freep names if you saw them.
This thing almost got taken official with Operation TIPS (read about it on Wikipedia) but they had to keep it covert at the last minute when that story came out, so they claim they never formed it. In reality it was already formed, they were just bringing it into the light. But it is out there, and it shows how far this intel operation has gone. If they have penetration of regular society to that degree, what do you think the penetration is at FBI? CIA? The political world? We are way, way behind the eight ball.
I’ve amassed as much on this as I can from open sources below. But this is way beyond the point where we organize at the grass roots and vote out the leftists. It isn’t even left vs right, because their penetration on our side is just as substantial. This is a massive intel operation, which a massive number of Americans pledge loyalty to. Whether they know it is foreign or not, I can’t say, but they have to know it hacked our election for China (where this conspiracy is moving its center of operations), and still they serve it.
The only hope is we out the intel operation doing this, and create an open conflict between our side and their’s. We can win an open conflict now, numerically, if we grasp it is an intel war, and their assets are among us.
But if we don’t expose that, we are done, because nobody even has any idea what we are up against, let alone how to oppose it. We will never resist this if we act like it is just a few wacky leftists who got lucky and took power.
