The earth sets some limits for plants and animals and within those limits the plants and animals, humans included, over time, contribute to shaping the landscape. Humans are not separate from “nature” and meant to be condemned, they are part of it and their life is as important to it as any other.

Cryphonectria parasitica was responsible for the decimation of the American chestnut. Five billion trees on the eastern seaboard were destroyed by a fungus. It started in 1905 and took a few decades. Do these clowns cry a tear over that? They probably have never seen a chestnut tree. My heart does not bleed for these narcissistic clowns.
