Official COVID Vaccine Injury Thread (examples from personal relationships only)

Posted on 04/28/2021 11:57:04 AM PDT by Treeless Branch

It seems there are many personal stories of vaccine injuries being shared throughout many threads across the platform by fellow Freepers. Let’s try to use this one thread to organize and analyze them. Perhaps the results will surprise people who fall on both sides of the aisle. Let’s not use this thread as a place to debate either side of whether people should be vaccinated or not.

1. Describe your close relationship with the person who had the side effects and/or symptoms from the vaccine - e.g. family member and/or personal friend (you must exclude people you don’t know personally or anyone you only read about online).

2. If you know, name the vaccine the person took and whether he or she took one or both shots.

3. Describe your personal knowledge about the relative health of the person before he or she took the vaccine.

4. Describe the side effects and/or symptoms you know the person experienced after taking the vaccine.

5. Describe the amount of time that past between the start of those side effects and/or symptoms compared to when the person took the vaccine.

6. Describe if the person reported the side effects and/or symptoms to the government and or if the government has contacted him or her.

7. If any, link or attach any publicly available supporting proof such as public Facebook posts, news stories or obituaries (do not post any private, non-public information).

8. Describe any personal stories from frontline healthcare workers you personally know who refuse to get vaccinated, who know of people who became sick after they were vaccinated, or who have personally told you about people who are vaccinated but still caught COVID.

I suspect that I’d had the “beta Version” of COVID/CCP in January of 2020, several days of almost constant chills, shortness of breath/cough. The SOB lasted for nearly a month...couldn’t say the first line of the pledge of allegience without at least one catch up breath.

Had several episodes from February - October when I’d have a couple days of respiratory symptoms, felt like “circling the drain” but never anything full blown. Then had some definite exposure in late November, again, some “circling the drain” in early December.

My wife had the “beta” in January 2020 as well. Also the exposure in late November but she did go into full blown COVID, ended up being hospitalized for eight days over Christmas, sent home with oxygen (now almost fully recovered!). So I was definitely exposed to her. But I tested negative.

So…

Moderna I on January 15

<8 hours - felt great, “felt like Superman”—did weight training, walked 2/3 mile. Everything great.

9 - 33 hours - “worst hangover of my life” headaches, chills, nausea—even the thought of food was revolting.

34 - 40 hours - “is this menopause?” Hot flashes!
After that, pretty much back to normal except that about 10 days after I began getting weird joint pains, a bout of gout plus aches where I’d never had them before. Lasted about 5- days.

Moderna II on February 12

This time around with Tylenol before and steadily for 30 hours afterward: a few chills, no nausea, headaches that would come and go in less than 30 seconds and an incredible appetite. Hungry as a horse.

Self, received both shots of Moderna back in February, pretty healthy before the vaccine, had a very sore arm (whole arm) on the injection side after the first shot and had soreness near the injection site after the second. Lasted about 2 days following injection. Onset was within a few hours.

Wife had her first shot of Pfizer in March, second in April. Very fatigued and a bad headache after the first shot. Onset was within a few hours. Headache lasted the rest of the day and fatigue for maybe 2-3 days. No symptoms after second shot. Otherwise healthy before both shots.

Have several colleagues at work who got Moderna around the same time I did. They described headaches, significant fatigue, soreness around the injection site, and one developed a migraine about a day after the first shot (though he gets frequent migraines due to multiple triggers that are difficult to avoid, so it’s possible that’s a coincidence). Most reported fewer symptoms on the second shot - which was surprising because I had heard the opposite. One reported more fatigue lasting about 2-3 days after the second shot. All are in good health. Talking about 4 people there.

In total, I have regular personal interaction with roughly 25 people who’ve had the vaccine and 9 who’ve had COVID-19. Of the 9, 3 said it was like the worst flu they ever had, 3 said no big deal, 2 only got tested because they had known infected household members (positive, but asymptomatic), and 1 wound up in the hospital clinging to life for about 3 weeks. I know of no one who had any severe/debilitating/hospital visit requiring symptoms after vaccination. Not saying it can’t happen; just relaying what my personal experience has been.

Myself, wife, one daughter and her husband got the Phizer shot. No reactions.

Two other daughters and their husbands got Modera. Three no reactions. One felt a bit puny the day after but fine the next day.

1- a personal friend, age 75 and her husband
2-2 shots Moderna in March and April
3-good health, very active
4/5-after 1st shot her heart rate rose from 79 to 125 and stayed up. A week later she had a cardio conversion to bring her heart rate back to normal levels. Her husband (80 yrs) had severe stomach pain for 3 days, accompanied by nausea and diarrhea.
2nd shot husband had no side effects. A day after the injection she was sick (fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, chills, low grade fever, headache) which lasted 4 days. Mid April she went to the doctor with a UTI, she said first time in her life to have one. She’s fine now.
6- don’t know if it was reported (we talked about vaers but don’t know if she actually did it)

Re two colleagues. One took the first dose, several hours later passed out on his kitchen floor, after his family went to bed. Woke up and for the first 15 minutes thought he was five years old. Went to the ER and they won’t let him get the second dose now. Second colleague had two days with Covid symptoms after he took it. They included no sense of taste and smell, which is not supposed to happen. They were severe enough to where he actually went and got a COVID test, which was negative. Two stories from two people I trust and who don’t know my political leanings. Two stories that will never see the light of day or be reported.

ER nurse who treated me has seen 5 COVID patients in the ER who are vaccinated. She disclosed this to me without any promoting or discus oak of politics.

Best friend’s wife is an ER nurse. They refuse to get vaccinated based on all of the adverse side effects they’ve seen from the vaccine. She reports have the doctors she works with won’t get vaccinated for the same reasons.

I should clarify that most of the people I know who’ve gotten vaccinated already are either doctors or nurses. The other people around me mostly didn’t have access to the vaccines until very recently and they’re mostly getting scheduled now.

I haven’t personally spoken with any doctors or nurses who’ve refused to get vaccinated. Every frontline health worker I’ve spoken with about it was thankful to have it, mostly so they wouldn’t bring it home to their families. I know a couple labor and delivery nurses who get pretty annoyed now when someone refuses to get tested because it means they have to put on full PPE (hospital policy) for every interaction with that patient. They have enough confidence in the vaccines that they’d much rather just ignore the refusal to get tested and get on with business because it takes a long time to get in and out of full PPE.

This post is already fascinating. I live in a part of the country where we know just as many people who had Covid than who haven’t. Several of the posts here report side effects from the vaccine that are worse than most of our friend’s symptoms from Covid.

1. First cousin.
2. Don’t know which shot(s).
3. 77 years old. Healthy. Active. Traveled the world with large semi-professional choir.
4. No side effects or symptoms except ... dead.
5. N/A. No side effects.
6. N/A. No side effects to report. Unknown if government contacted spouse later.
7. Any supporting proof would be extremely personal.
8. Don’t know front-line healthcare workers who have discussed this issue.

Really? Sore arms, headaches, and fatigue are most of what I’m reading here.

The people I’ve known with COVID-19, some of them were out of work for weeks and couldn’t go about their daily life during that time. One is a teenager (16 or so?) who was nearly hospitalized because his symptoms were so persistent. One friend who was in the hospital for several weeks and on oxygen when he was finally released.

Yes, some who had COVID-19 had few problems from it. Some had pretty bad problems from it. Personally, I’m happier with a sore arm than I would be risking being completely knocked out for weeks. Maybe I’d be just fine. Maybe I’d be very sick. Maybe I’d be in the hospital. But having had the shot and the side effects from it, I’ll take that over even the risk of a rough infection.

I lost 80 pounds from bariatric surgery in Jan 20.
Wife insisted I get a face lift to remove all the loose skin.
Doctor said he’d never seen so much loose skin.
Had the face lift on 11 Feb 21. Was in surgery for eight hours.
Got the first Pfizer two weeks following the surgery. Some fatigue for three or four days. Was this the vaccine or the surgery.
Got the second Pfizer three weeks later. No issues.
Wife got the Pfizer on the same schedule. No issues.
Most of our friends are seventies to eighties. All have received the Pfizer. Only one reported a reaction. Mild fever and chills for maybe eight hours.
FWIW, my cardiac doc says I’m in great shape. Resting heart beat in the upper fifties. I spend at least an hour a day, five days a week lifting weights. Walk four to five miles a day. I’ve added seven pounds since the first of the year. Tests indicate it’s almost all muscle gain.

I personally know of 2 kids it messed up, like $15K in Hospital scans later we can’t explain why your Athletic 19 year old SMU honor student can’t form words anymore, but thank god she got her vaccine two days ago.

Don’t plan on the media contacting you about this.

Today hit a milestone: More people I personally know have been Hospitalized for bad reactions to the vaccine than people I personally know that were hospitalized for Covid.

The vaccine requirement for healthy kids is borderline criminal.

Dumbest “pandemic” ever.

My mother and father took the first Moderna vaccine shot about six weeks ago. Within a week my mother went from a very active person in her mid 80s to an invalid unable to make it from the bed to the bathroom. She has progressively gotten worse to the point that she now looks like a little death camp survivor. We and her doctors expect her to die soon. It wasn’t an allergic reaction. So your explanation fails miserably, but I am sure you can come up with something better to push these experimental vaccines on those of us who are skeptical.

I spent years working as a Hazmat Officer in charge of a Hazmat team. It was my responsibility to make risk assessments for bio and chemical hazards. I probably have had ten times as many vaccinations as most people. It is amazing to me how many of my former subordinates have refused to take these vaccines at the risk of losing their positions. The risk involved in taking an experimental vaccine should be left up to the individual and their doctor not the all knowing government, big tech and the corporate media.

I worked as a Hazmat Officer for ten years in charge of a big city Hazmat Team. I have had ten times as many vaccines as most people in my life and never had any complications and very few times when even my arm got sore. A week after my mother got the first Moderna shot she went from very active and going to the YMCA every day to an invalid who can’t make it from her bed to the bathroom without assistance. She has lost so much weight that she looks like a little death camp survivor and she cries and says that she is in so much pain that she just wants to die. These shots are not safe for everyone, and in many cases are most likely much worse for some individuals than getting Covid itself.

4 neighbors and I got J&J
Ages 52-62
All of us were a bit tired one day, had a very minor amount of aches.

My wife, 68, Pfizer - Second dose, her injection site was sore for half the next day.

Another neighbor, 68, had Moderna.
She felt achey, and a bit nauseous for 6 hours the day after her second shot.

That’s it.

Two days after the second Pfizer my next door neighbor told her husband "I'm going to die" - she made it through the night without calling 911 and felt slightly better by morning; but she was basically immobilized for a week.

My colleague just had her second Pfizer on Friday and she said it kicked her ass over the weekend. She called in sick this week.

My daughter had the first Pfizer last week, sore arm but nothing else. If she has a reaction to the second Pfizer she won't tell me because she is a diehard lefty and knows I am a covid vaccine skeptic and won't give me the satisfaction.

I don’t know anyone who has gotten Covid-19.

I know (or knew) four senior citizens who got the MRNA “vaccines”.

One is dead. We don’t really know why. The timing was coincidental,
but the “vaccine” may not have been a factor.

One is struggling not to be dead. We had to threaten to file a missing
person report to get the first hospital to tell us where they dumped her
when they refused to honor our medical PoA. (Possibly vaccine related
because of shared symptoms with similar reported cases.)

We got her out of that place, and now she seems to be slowly, yet not
completely, recovering.

The other two are OK, and had only mild shot symptoms (They were
required to get the “vaccine” in order to be allowed to travel), but they
are now a bit frightened.

In my little sphere, the increasingly forced “cure” is currently tracking to be
more dangerous, and certainly more psychologically unsettling, than the
disease itself.

Most of my family and friends are “fully vaccinated”. All had no side effects or just a sore arm for a day.

Daughter was vaccinated early as she’s a nurse, and had a 101 fever for about 8 hrs from her 2nd moderna shot.

My mother lives in “Senior Apartments”, kind of like assisted living but a little more independent. At 80, she is one of the youngest residents. Over 100 residents vaccinated, not a single adverse reaction.

Wife and I got the 1st pfizer shot a month ago and get the second on Monday. No side effects from 1st.

I had an appointment this morning at a large regional hospital, and spoke about the vaccine with my doctor. He said the hospital staff was at 100% vaccinated in his department, and nearing 100% for the entire hospital. He had not heard of a single major adverse event among the hundreds of staff beyond sore arm, fever or “felt crappy for a day or two”.
