You may not want socialism, but you’re getting it anyway

If we continue our current immigration policies, both legal and illegal, the Democrats’ road path to socialism is straight and unhindered.

For several years now, those on the political right made standing against socialism, especially extreme forms of international socialism, a key plank of their political beliefs. They have been very outcome-oriented – that is, they try to push back against obvious policies advancing socialism. This approach may be laudable, but it's been far too short-sighted and dated. We are no longer fighting the long-gone Cold War against communism. Instead, we are dealing with a more nuanced hybrid – a sort of quasi-socialistic-tinged Neo-Liberalism, aka globalism. Stopping it involves dealing with immigration, not legislation.

Conservatives have tried to stop socialism and achieve electoral success using rational, fact-based arguments to convince the masses. The problem with this strategy is that it doesn't take into consideration a major factor: Demographic change.

This is something that came to the fore quite recently when Tucker Carlson pointed it out (much to the chagrin of Jonathan Greenblatt of the ADL). Using both illegal and legal immigration, Democrats are transforming the very landscape of the United States (and multiple Western nations, as well). Indeed, it has been in the process of being transformed since the Hart-Cellar Act of 1965.

Contrary to Senator Ted Kennedy’s empty promises at the time, immigration policy’s focus shifted from its original goal -- maintaining an ethnically European supermajority – to a new goal to an increasingly mixed ethnic composition. As Carlson pointed out, this fundamentally changed the demographics of America’s electorate to the point that existing citizens' votes become almost worthless, at least in majority “blue” states, such as California. Once a bastion of the Republican party, today, and for the long foreseeable future, it is a very liberal Democratic state.

Right; think about not just the existing “safety net” (including Social Security/Medicare, as well as Medicaid/Welfare), but also how college tuition is determined (means-based) and even the tax incentives such as the Earned Income Credit and mortgage interest/property taxes.

We're already past the point of socialism.

Socialism, in theory, is where the "community" owns the means of production.

The power of the "community" was removed when the Democrats stole the election.

They can give us any kind of government they want. It may be pure communism or it may just be totalitarianism (i.e., plantation slavery).

The oft-used word “democracy” is demspeak for socialism.
You know, that whole “a spoonful of sugar helps the cyanide go down” kind of thing.

When people turn their backs on God, they get the kind of government they deserve. Unfortunately, those who have not turned their backs on God get the kind of government those evil people deserve. That is a sad fact of life.

The reason we have failed policies is not because of capitalism but because we’ve been socialistic more and more over the past 50-80 years. Their plan is just about complete.

This article makes no sense. There are certainly issue with forced diversity, but there is no reason socialism needs to be one of them.

True socialism demands conformity is all aspects. In the end what destroyed the USSR were the demands for ethnicity sovereignty.

More than half the fedgov repubs are all for it.

I overheard the mother of the owner of a business I worked at explained it best. "Jack(husband) and I travel all over the world on our vacations and the workers in other countries don't have cars or big houses and they seem perfectly happy. Why can't our workers be like that."

She emphasized our which conveyed a touch of ownership.

A certain type of people believe they are of a higher class, one of two, and that the lower class doesn't deserve a 2,000 sq ft house or a car. They'd like nothing more than for the lowly workers to live in tiny houses, shacks, huts and walk or ride a bicycle everywhere. Less traffic for them to have to deal with. Less little people at the airports. Less little people at the restaurants, vacation spots etc etc

No, the main reason is that both the right and the left went globalist and off shored, imported and legal immigrated labor to make a buck for international stock holders. Well now the bill is due.

That is one stupid business owner.

A good business creates value for its customers and its employees.

Most products being made in another country says different. American companies that have crap sold in America but made by near slave labor in china and other 3rd world shitholes. American companies hiring illegals because they don't have to pay them as much or offer benefits. It's rampant. Most business owners are all for profit and nothing else matters.

Yes, give them a Universal Basic Income so that they continue to consume but stay home for health reasons.

Gets a bit of a 'Matrix' feel after a while.

You may not recall, or have ever heard, but some years ago the government of Mexico decided to try to advance things like private ownership and a more profit minded work ethic.

They had to use socialistic language to do so because after decades of Leftwing rhetoric it was just how many had been conditioned to think and express themselves.

Also, the article and some posters are missing the mark about socialism.

This is all about absolute power to rule. Population replacement is their way to achieve that.

We do not have socialism — though I’ve no doubt the DNC proper, the party apparatus, is dominated by those who want socialism — nor are we immediately heading towards actual socialism so much as, to be blunt, we are heading into fascism ... government managed (but not owned) corporatism with a welfare state.

Please keep in mind that the Left does not understand what fascism is. Many seem to think you’re a fascist if you merely suggest people have good morality. In the end they, the actual fascist, call fascism anything that they don’t like ... but as the one Freedom Toons cartoon concluded: “Well, you also think a man can be a woman, so...”

Of these Evan Sayet nailed them for their magical thinking, whereby the imagine that all they need to do for the utopia they lust for to appear is tear down everything that is ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaE98w1KZ-c ... of course they are wrong, as all socialist true believers have always been wrong, but the destruction they cause benefits those who simply want limitless power.
