Due to my colitis, white potatoes/rice/etc. are part of my diet. And because I do manual labor, I need the carbs.
Science changes so quickly. there are so many trends now that once were. I pretty much listen to my body.
I use bananas, spinach and beets during each week for potassium, instead of potatoes. A modified “no white” diet - no potatoes, rice, noodles in particular - has been aiding me in lowering my weight.
I trust this like I trust most of those “studies.”
