@Alex Berenson | Iceland Facing Huge New #Covid outbreak, the country’s chief epidemiologist says natural infection is the way to reach herd immunity

[H/T Farcesensitive]

2/ And he is not going to propose more lockdowns or widespread boosters. They do want to vaccinate teens but they are getting pushback. From an Icelandic reader (as you can see, the articles back him).

What is so stunning about this is that a couple of weeks ago, as cases began to rise, Iceland looked to be going the opposite way and imposing a new wave of restrictions in the hope of bolstering vaccine effectiveness. Clearly they've recognized that strategy is impossible.

Put Iceland on Team Reality. Virus gonna virus.

Huge outbreak? Iceland is seeing about 100 cases per day, and has seen exactly 1 death in all of 2021.

Who in the hell do they think they are by relying on time tested, scientifically proven, 100 years worth of immunology research? Don’t they know who Dr Fauci is?

Does Iceland have a citizen-friendly media culture, i.e., no overwhelming addiction to gaslighting and crafting and peddling a preferred narrative?

Will they start doing Covid parties?

We used to to chickenpox parties, measles parties and later flu parties.

There’s been a lot of people going to see the volcano. Apparently it’s been a boon to the economy.

Maybe right. Trump came out and said it’s like the flu. And he got trashed for it. I know people that have been really sick from it. Know a few that died. Maybe a little worse or different than the flu. But people are being killed from taking the vaccine. And killed by the virus. Some of us thought perhaps with the survival rate that you just let it run it’s course. Some that has lost people close to them may think different but what are we supposed to do. The FDA won’t approve the vaccine yet. So it’s experimental and is it saving lives. You can have the vaccine and still catch it.

You have to learn to put things in perspective.

Arizona has over 7 Million people. Iceland has ~350 Thousand people.

The Arizona population is roughly 20 times that of Iceland. Arizona saw 2,100 new cases yesterday. Iceland is seeing about the same number per person at 100 new cases in a day.

The 2,100 cases seen in Arizona is a large uptick in what we saw early last month. Arizona cases are up about 4X in the last 30 days. I suspect that Iceland has also had an upward movement which they wish to watch.

On the other hand, I suspect that Iceland has vaccinated at a higher rate than Arizona, which is at 53%. I did not see the vaccination rate for Iceland in the article.

As of this moment, Iceland has a population of 343,717.

The sleight-of-hand they are using is: ...Facing a huge new #Covid outbreak that translates into ~100,000 US cases a day...

Most people read that as 100,000 case a day, which is what the fear-mongers want.

Since few people know the actual population of Iceland, the sleazy trick works.

If this guy is vaccine hesitant for the sake of his country, I predict his untimely death within 30 days

It’s too late for natural immunity to save the day. Too many people got suckered into taking the vaccine and that’s changed how their immune system responds to the virus, so they can’t develop natural immunity anymore. Perhaps in a while after the vaccine wears off... if they survive that long.

Of course most countries will probably keep pursuing this idiocy with “booster shots” of a vaccine that doesn’t work, extending the misery even further.

Maybe time would have been better spend coming up with treatments for covid instead of mass vaccinated every man woman and child on the planet since most people who get sick are not in life threatening situations.

That was my worry, that the vaccine is just kicking the inevitable infection down the road to a point where you are older and less able to survive it.

I think the problem, the REAL problem, is from the start the pushed all medications out of reach and denied all treatments until people were too sick to be saved, and at that point put them on ventilators, which does little if anything.

If a person had other illnesses, there are treatments. Fauci/CDC declared there were to be no treatments at all. Patients were sent home and told to return when they needed a ventilator/hospitalization. That is...ahem...murderous medical practice. It’s highly survivable, the earlier the better. That’s why the CDC insisted on delay, delay, delay.
HCQ/AZ works - but Fauci/CDC/FDA forbid it’s use.
Ivermectin works - but they prevented it’s use. Those two treatments are FDA approved, in use for decades, well tolerated and physicians want to write off-lable prescritions for Covid patients (so those treatments are not formally defined as treated with those drugs, but docs can still use their medical judgement and knowledge of your health considerations to use it.)
In what the CDC/Fauci claimed was an ‘emergency’ suddenly off-lable prescriptons were treated as dangerous. The CDC changed their website to make those drugs sound risky.
The only studies they tried with HCQ they overdosed or left off the side order of AZ that makes it work, and started treatment intentionally late to make sure those drugs failed the trials.
If the drugs had been put in use, so many people could have been saved. This is true of many flu and pneumonia cases, but if there were meds known to work for Cov then there couldn’t be an EUA for Covid vaccinations. They had to prevent the use of drugs to get their beloved vaccines forced onto the public.
The PCR test is not accurate, so if you had a false positive for Covid when you really had other treatable illnesses, suddenly you couldn’t receive any treatment except oxygen.
Keeping Zinc, Vitamin D levels up and setting aside some ivermectin ahead of time, or HCQ/AZ (online appointments or overseas purhases that don’t require prescriptions) you can then be certain you have something set aside to start taking the moment you feel ill. Sorry to ramble on. But all this death and suffering was artificially constructed by those who control CDC/Fauci/NIH/FDA (our enemies, China, Bill Gates). Otherwise, this would have just been the flu. :(

Probably not. I think theey are heavily vaccinated and there’s only one way to get that way. :/
But they are starting to turn the corner.
