Increasing urban diversity in Southern states is complicating Republican efforts to keep the reins of statehouse power and chip away at Democratic control of Congress.
Of the 65 counties that turned majority minority since 2010, meaning more than half the population is made up of people of color, over two-thirds are in the South, a Stateline analysis of new census data shows. Thirty-five of those counties voted Republican in the 2020 presidential election, down from 39 in 2012.
The four that flipped are Tarrant County, Texas (which includes Fort Worth); Duval County, Florida (which includes Jacksonville); and two counties in the Atlanta suburbs that were key to Democratic victories last year, Henry and Cobb.

There are already deep divisions in the US. Multi-ethnic societies rarely survive in the long run. You can’t avoid the fact that minorities overwhelmingly vote for Democrats.

Most minorities believe Republicans are racists, so voting for the Democrat is a no brainer. It goes no deeper than that. Policy is irrelevant to these folks.
Why vote for the GOP? The bastards are just Democrats in disguise.

Minorities don’t vote Republican because the media tells them Republicans are racist and no Republican until Trump made a serious outreach. Trump did and he was rewarded with the largest minority vote ever to a Republican.
Because the desire to rule others and have others be forced to use their economic efforts for your personal benefits is not an easy drug to break off from.
I own a couple of short term rentals. 1st generation Indians are literally the worst. The cleaning lady always finds the house trashed, and they do the craziest crap.
I once had one Indian guest call me asking how to refill the hot tub. I asked them why it was drained, and he said bc they thought that it was attracting flies on the deck. I wish I was making this up.
You are mostly right but wrong about one thing. It’s true they mostly hire among their own, even at startups. It’s also true they bring tons of family members through chain migration. However most Indians, the vast majority, are not on welfare. They tend to be gainfully employed and many are business owners/founders, unlike migrants from other countries or illegals from south of the border.
Did they offer to pay rent with goat or chicken?
It depends on which ethnic groups. Cubans and Venezuelans, at least a good percentage of them vote Republican in Florida because they are fleeing from nations that practiced communism. Or look at Atlanta in Georgia which IQ attracting many Blacks from other states in the U.S.
Indian-Americans are hard workers. They tend to own their own businesses. Natural fit with GOP. But nope they vote for Democratic Party like they are Jews.
