Yeah, but even a milligram squeezed down to a mathematical point would have an “extremely high” density. This being a 1 dimensional point might make all the difference. Heavy stuff.

You’re a computational, astrophysical heretic!
Inconvenient for her but she is mostly Indian….. just a little black…..
But definitely a “HO”le
Bwahahaha!
In related news, Hunter Biden was named to the board of a new federal research institute created to study this phenomenon.
Hawking radiation is a very small temperature, much less than the heat from the CMBR background of about 3 degK. Pressure is linearly proportional to temperature so the negative pressure measured inside the black hole causing it to shink slightly probably corresponds to a positive pressure outside its event horizon.
Only when the rest of the Universe reaches a temperature less than the black hole will it be able to radiate the Hawking radiation allowing the black hole to completely evaporate. This should take about a trillion years so nobody should be in a rush figure out the details.
It’s never too early to start .................
The entire universe of matter will collapse into a black hole then because the matter has become so dense it explodes. a big bang, so to speak.
Rinse and repeat.
Oh, please stop asking real questions. Tbe physicists will be upset.
Did anyone notice that the “discovery” was based on a mathematical equation using quantum field THEORY. Not an empirical discovery. “Mere supposition” as Sherlock would say.
BTW...if physical laws break down in a black hole, and many black holes can be forming...does that mean our universe doesn’t exhibit uniform physical properties all the time?
Science fiction authors can have a good time with that.

CNN wants to know if they discovered the missing airliner in there.
Push the button once! Was that too hard?
she not black tho....
First of all, I haven't looked at the paper yet, but the key question, in my mind, is how many σ for the result...
This so-called "pressure" is supposedly a minus 2e-46 bar. (YIKES! At my age (87.8) that must be close to my sperm count)
So the question is whether this was in the 3σ, 4σ, or 5σ range...
There have been many, many highly publicized so-called discoveries, usually in the 3σ or 4σ range that simply disappear with time and additional experiments...
The accepted value to be considered a true discovery is at 5σ...
Looking forward to reading the publication
It’s all about the grant money.
Discover something that cannot be proven or disproven and you are in like Flynn..................
