A video which apparently shows a Ukrainian man attempting to block a Russian military convoy has gone viral online, with comparisons being drawn to the “tank man” of Tiananmen Square. Ukrainian servicemen ride on tanks towards the frontline in The 30-second clip, shared by Ukrainian news outlet HB, shows a man standing in front of what appear to be military vehicles. As the vehicles try to swerve around him, the man jockeys to the side, seemingly in an attempt to the Lugansk region of Ukraine on 25 February. Russian forces tighten hold on Kyiv in attempt to topple government “Ukrainian rushes under enemy equipment so that the occupiers do not pass,” HB tweeted.

Here’s another one for you. The American Civil War, where the south was outnumbered by almost 3 to 1, took the Yankees four long years to prevail.
Don’t count on Ukraine to hold out more than another week. Russia will devastate the Ukrainian army. There will be no doubt who the winner is no matter how brave (and not too smart) they appear to be.

This is the easy part for the Russians. The Ukrainians will then exact their revenge.

Don’t be too sure of that. With Zelensky already crying wolf, it’s pretty clear that they are now ready to throw in the towel and give Russia a settlement that makes Russia a winner — just like the Crimea.
How has that Crimea thing worked out for Ukraine?
I don’t think Putin has the Russian people on his side now that the grinder is activated. The Ukrainians were an empire first and fiercely proud. The Rus have always had am common culture and people with the Ukrainians. How can Pitin keep up this fight with people that don’t hate each other? There is a hell of a lot more going on under the surface and there is zero doubt in my mind Biden wants this to cover up the corruption of his disgusting family and will keep this war going as long as possible. I don’t think Putin has the will of his soldiers or his people behind him. The Ukrainians loyal to Russia will leave. The Ukrainian patriots will fight to the last tooth pick.

How about eastern Ukraine, which is mostly Russian and what he wants to protect. And then have the rest of Ukraine go neutral - which is about what will happen when he finishes off Kiev.
You think he’ll stop after claiming the areas which are populated by mainly ethnic Russians? I don’t.
He laid out a plan in a dissertation after the CCCP fell which amounted to his version of MAGA, and he’s completed a fair number of steps apparently. He is a brilliant, proud KGB bastard. Those guys don’t stop. They might pause for awhile, long enough for you to think it’s over, but not stop.

We just disagree. Time will tell. He told the U.S. and Europe to stop the NATO crap that has crept to his front door since the 1990s, after being promised they would not expand after the break-up of the USSR. They dismissed his most important request totally out of hand and claimed it would never happen.
All he needs to do is finish off Kiev today or tomorrow and protect the eastern part of the country. He then negotiates, from a position of strength, a settlement agreement with what is left of the corrupt country of Ukraine. He is smart enough to stay out of the western part of the country.
I’m not sure I would call him a bastard. I would call him very smart, as you did, and someone who is making a stand for his country and his people — something not happening here!
Don’t forget this all started back in 2014 when Obama and the deep state launched a color revolution to topple the existing Ukrainian government. Now the chickens have come home to roost.
