I love my country. But I have a problem with the current occupants. Americans are fat, fatuous, failing and flailing.
Let’s look at some evidence. A serious people:
*Would not imagine for even a second that the way to reduce crime is to defund the police.
*Would not seriously contend that the way to reduce inflation – a natural effect of too much money in circulation chasing too few goods – is to increase even further the amount of money in circulation.
*Would not allow biological and even anatomical men to beat women in women’s athletics simply because those men say they feel womanly at the moment.
*Would be supplying its own energy needs rather than sending money to the butcher of Kyiv, as if burning Russian oil does not emit greenhouse gas but burning American oil does.

Americans have had it too easy, and are too focused on stupid, imaginary things.

Disagree. Democrat cities have had massive police budgets for years and they’re the most crime-ridden places in America.
But like we saw in Florida and Texas when law abiding citizens recover their right to arm themselves and to protect themselves violent crime and property crime rates drop. This has to be coupled with laws that prevent Democrat prosecutors from going after people who defend themselves from Criminals Of Color.
Constitutional carry is a far more effective way to reduce crime than are massive budgets for police forces that have perverted themselves into paramilitaries.

Maybe they spend too much time getting their news from the Lame Street Media, too much social interaction from Social Media, too much time on gaming sites and too much time believing the government has their best interest at heart.

The problem is not police funding as evidenced by blue state spending on cops, but the failure to prosecute and sentence criminals as well as the failure to place mental patients in institutions.
Just recently a criminal attacked a woman on the New York City subway system, smearing fecal matter in her face. The perp was released without bail instead of being sent to a mental institution.
