Lt. Gov. John Fetterman's blue-collar image is questioned by Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz, who cites Fetterman's comfortable upbringing and reports of being financially supported by his parents until his mid-40s.
Fetterman has confirmed the financial backing from his parents during his time as mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania, and said that it allowed him to work full-time in the position for several years.
According to OpenSecrets, Fetterman's father, Karl Fetterman, gave more than $100,000 to The 15104, the single-candidate super PAC that was backing his son's campaign in 2016.

Is Fetterman still alive? Over 300 murders in Philadelphia this year already. Governor Wolf, John Federman, Josh Shapiro and Larry Krasner haven’t done shit about any of this stuff. 1009 murders in Pennsylvania in 2020 was John was sitting at home having his feet get larger because he refuses to take care of himself. Could you imagine having that guy near any of your children, grandchildren or wife? The term “coming for our children” is absolutely scary with this guy. He has no choice but to come for our children because the teachers union is going to demand it.

Kathy Barnette is a loser! She played the victim the other day and John Frederick show. She couldn’t wait to bring up Sean Hannity‘s name. Kathy is about hate she’s not willing to do the hard work right now. She’s off in the corner sucking her thumb like a little victim. She’s far more trouble than she’s worth.

Lots of rich people set up trusts for the benefit of their children, including well into adulthood. I’m not in that club myself, but if circumstances had been different for my parents or grandparents, I certainly wouldn’t be ashamed to enjoy the fruits of their prosperity. Oz here is making an appeal to envy, not to fundamental differences between himself and his opponent. Appeals to envy are shabby and despicable, and suggest that the one resorting to them has no arguments grounded in principle.
I can’t know everybody but I have a listen to her enough to know that she doesn’t have the right stuff. She spent 15 minutes on the John Frederick show and it was nothing more than a continuation of her goodbye speech when she got blown out. She’s not picking herself up and dusting herself off she’s getting off on self pitying snivel. It’s August and she stool still concerned about what happened in May. Oz's positions on the issues as listed on his website seem mostly reasonable. Fetterman on the other hand is a big government extremist.
Oz needs to be hammering home those issues...if he really believes them.
