Lurch the climate czar may be the most useless bureaucrat, and that’s saying a lot.
There’s one thing we can know about the government — the goal is always to collect money. The purpose of carbon credits has always been to make it look like corporate and foreign entities are reducing their carbon footprint when all they are doing is buying a worthless piece of paper. While the U.S. drowns under climate tyranny, China and India get to pretend they will start reducing their carbon emissions down the road.
The scheme to sell “carbon credits” is nothing more than a sleight of hand, satisfying calls for action from the uninformed members of the public, all while bringing in extra revenue. Big Government and Big Business unite in the messaging, pretending corporations reduced emissions, but in reality, all they did was write a check — and people cheer as if the companies did something.
Currently, companies like Ford and General Motors make lots of money selling big, gas-guzzling trucks, but then turn around and buy surplus carbon credits from companies like Tesla — a transaction which has made Elon Musk very rich. So rich in fact, Musk was able to drop $44 billion and massively overpay for Twitter.
Now, just a few days back at the COP27 conference, John Kerry announced a “new, controversial plan” to “raise money for climate action.” The “action” Kerry was referring to is an initiative to finance transitions from “dirty” energy to “clean” energy in developing countries. According to CNN:
But the plan has already attracted criticism because of the way it will be financed – with money raised in sales of carbon credits, which allow companies to pay for someone else to cut their planet-warming emissions, instead of cutting their own.

Never forget that the whole "CO2 global warming" scam was invented by the neo-malthusian Club of Rome as a tool to force a drastic die-off of human populations. This is only the beginning. Ultimately, YOU are the carbon they want to reduce.
Meanwhile, trust the climate oligarchs (Al, call your office) to find private profit in public policy.
None would care out this lunacy except it affects their lives.
Countless..almost meaningless regulations and restrictions.
Inflation causing diesel prices to sky rocket ..cause companies to raise their prices.
And the lower/middle working class ..and their families ..AND THEIR CHILDREN get trapped in a perpetual struggle to stay above water.
So true, since they view most of us as vermin on the surface of the planet (especially the uppity middle class).

The climate change cultists believe sea levels are going to rise a LOT.

Those who are causing these incessant problems need to know who we as the citizens of this country view as the vermin. Here’s a hint: most are connected in politics.

Swiftboat Rear Admiral John F’ing Kerry has never mentioned how he wants to control Volcanoes. Specifically the Tonga Volcano that experts estimate pumped 58 billion tons of ash and vapors into the atmosphere to an altitude of 126K feet. This volcano erupted 15 Jan. 2022 and it shook the World and experts consider it to be the worse in 1200 years. Why hasn’t the Admiral made statements how he is going to offset the material in the atmosphere that is effecting our weather Worldwide today and will continue for years?
What gets me is that people like Kerry and Gore are rich beyond most peoples’ dreams and yet are still greedy to gain even more.
I learned in 5th grade science that all life on planet earth is carbon based. Carbon dioxide is plant food, which is food for all herbivores and carnivores. Many true climate scientists believe that at 400 parts per million, barely a trace gas, that we are in a carbon-dioxide draught.
As soon as I learned that carbon dioxide is considered a “pollutant”, I knew that environmental ideology is a death cult.
Am I the only person on planet earth outside of the death cult who stayed awake during 5th grade science back in the early 1960’s? When did they remove this very important information from science classes?
