This must be the 20th article I’ve seen over the years for low-pollution, clean burning stoves for sub-Saharan African countries.
The stove emits 90% less pollution compared to using wood and far much less than charcoal.
and no information about it in the article?
nor here:
Maybe it is electric...........................
Really????
Now they just need to find the food to cook on it.
Wood gas stoves, that burn wood and, probably, charcoal and alcohol stoves are, relatively clean and can be made for free from cans.

maybe rocket stove, better than open fire. known for a long time.
Larry Winiarski, Technical Director of Aprovecho, began developing the rocket stove in 1980 based on a VITA stove, designed by Sam Baldwin, and rediscovered the principles of the systems developed by the Romans in hypocaust heating and cooking systems.[5][6

She bought a microwave oven at Costco, and they gave her $1.2 million?

Is this Wakanda tech?
RE: Mukuru kwa Njenga slum, one of the biggest slums in Nairobi, Kenya.
Barack Obama, excited: “Yes, yes I used to shoot craps there when I was a kid. Great place to find suckers.”
It runs on wood pellets with charcoal and sugar cane waste added in.
It’s the new hotness.
1. It just seems to be rip off of the traditional Thai stove designs, not anything ‘new’.

2. It still burns charcoal, just more efficiently than current Kenyan stoves; similar to the difference between a campfire and a rocket stove.
3. Couldn’t find any detailed photos or plans for them; that might be telling.
The only video that I found that briefly gave a good look at one in action, coupled with the user’s comment comparing the cost of charcoal between her new & old stoves let the cats out of the bags: the only “innovation” is introducing them to Kenya....but she is a POC female, so... .l
