This administration has foolishly determined to end all use of fossil fuels when that is the very thing that has made us great.
America has survived as a beacon of light for over two hundred years for two very simple reasons. First, we developed a Constitution that protects our God-given rights, especially those listed in the Bill of Rights, and second, we discovered and learned how to use fossil fuels.
Use of fossil fuels had an immediate effect on our environment, as the use of kerosene soon took the place of whale oil for lamps and preserved the lives of thousands of whales.
Under the Trump administration this long tradition was continued and even added to. The present administration has done much to reverse that trend. It is almost as if they have determined that every act of President Trump had to go.
A couple dozen executive orders were issued the first day Biden was in office. Many of these concerned the use of energy.
There was an immediate war on coal, oil, and natural gas, the very things that made America great. First was cancellation of the Keystone XL Pipeline. Then other pipelines bit the dust. Oil exploration projects on federal lands and off shore were ended.
The goal of the present administration is to stop all production of carbon dioxide in just a few short years. Carbon dioxide is a necessary gas from which every plant is built. From that tiny percentage (0.042 percent) comes the substance of every plant and all plant life in the oceans. We are just part of that carbon cycle. Animals produce carbon dioxide while plants produce oxygen, essential for all life.
It is foolish to think that man can reduce carbon dioxide and control the earth’s temperature.

Because the real goal is to destroy Western Civilization so they can build a communist utopia from the ruins. The first step is to control the use of energy so they can turn it off at a time of their choosing.
Exactly. The goal is centralized control. “Climate change” is the boogieman used to justify centralized control.
ALSO, CO2 DOES NOT control the earth’s temperature! These people are just communists and malthusians - they want to destroy capitalism and depopulate the earth. And then there are the people at the top who will not give up their lifestyles, they’ll pass laws that you’ll have to follow but they won’t. They’ll eat wagu beef but you’ll eat crickets.
It’s also slowing and destroying the capitalists for the Marxists, destruction of the Christian heritage that gave the west the leg up on the Islamic turd world.

The two greatest innovations that improved the lives of much of the world were the internal combustion engine and the electrical power grid. Both dependant on fossil fuel. Imagine the pollution of having to do the same work we do with the ICE if we did that same work with horses.

A while back I submitted the following to the opinion page of my local Gannett newsrag. Surprise of surprises, they published it unedited.
I am tiring of the constant misinformation about the naturally changing climate.
If every country on Earth confiscated every penny beyond bare subsistence from every person and spent it all on “climate”, they couldn’t affect the global temperature by one degree or the sea levels by an inch. If you believe otherwise, you have been scammed. The objects of the scam- MONEY and POWER.
They lie to you in seeking that money and power, and many of you believe them. Though life on Earth is carbon-based, they have convinced you that carbon is a pollutant rather than the basic building block of life as we know it. Atmospheric carbon dioxide is four hundredths of one percent. If it was five time greater the only difference we’d notice is the plant life around us thriving. And the dominant greenhouse gas is water vapor.
The “elite” want you frightened. They want to ban fossil fuels and nuclear energy. Since the alternate technologies are not nearly capable of replacing them, you’ll freeze in the dark. But THEY won’t!
The climate control promoters never mention the environmental impact of the massive volcanoes that have erupted recently. The Tonga Volcano pumped an estimated 58 billion tons of ash and vapor into the atmosphere in January 2022 which is affecting global weather. World wide droughts are now in play but no climate scientists ever mention this enormous event and its repercussions.
You cannot control the climate; you must adapt to it.
