Assistance Request! Salamander on Free Republic is having a long string of very bad luck

I just read a post from Cold Djinn on Facebook, who I think is Salamander on Free Republic. Her house is burning down. I'm unsure if she owns or rents but I suspect she rents which means she will take it on the chin more than a homeowner does. I do know she had to let her snakes perish and the money for her dog's vet bills was in a box she couldn;t retrieve either.. Luckily she got Hrafi, her dog , out.
If someone wants to set up a gofundme or a facebook funding request, that would be helpful. (Make sure someone hasn't already done one of these, upthread, before creating your own). Then lets get that good old Freeper unity and help going!

I understand the Red Cross helps people when their houses burn down, and she can also see if her local St Vincent de Paul society can help—even if only to direct her to other organizations for help. (Help is to those in the parish regardless of their religious status.)
However, she will still need help for her dog.
