Left-wing activists who pull stunts for cameras are basically acting out.
When Shakespeare wrote ‘All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players; And one man in his time plays many parts’, he meant it as a metaphor for human behavior.
Little did the Bard know that someday actors would play parts on the global stage and reap fame and copious pecuniary gains from the performance.
Enter the world’s most famous hooky player and ‘climate activist,’ Greta Thunberg. She is known all over the world for her infamous scowl and the permanence of her petulance.
She rose to ‘superstardom’ with her ‘How Dare You Speech?’ at the UN where she accused world leaders of stealing her dreams and her childhood by neglecting climate change which she claimed had brought the world to the brink of destruction.
Thunberg became the brand ambassador for climate change, winning fans such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, who called Thunberg his hero.
The story goes that Thunberg heard of climate change when she was merely eight and could not understand why so little was being done about it. The situation made her depressed and consequently, by 11, she stopped talking and eating much, losing ten kilos of weight in two months. She was eventually diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD).
What Thunberg needed were their parents to protect her and ensure that she received the necessary healthcare to live a normal life.
But instead, her parents, both of whom are performers, i.e., her mother an opera singer, and her father an actor, decided that Thunberg would herself become a performer, not on stage or in the film, but in real life.

There’s a reason why no adult with any sense pays the slightest bit of attention to the opinion of a teenaged girl, on any topic of import.

We need to treat her as the joke that she is. Which is why I made her my "girlfriend" here on Free Repubic and often speak of her as such. Some get it, some don't. That's just my weird sense of humor.
Below is a picture of us on our last camping trip together. Well actually, the photo is from our living room. We pitched a tent in there to stay warm as she had me turn the thermostat way down in the house and it was like 20 degrees inside.
As for why she's so happy with me in this photo is because I had just told her that we were switching from a gas stove to an electric one. This photo was taken just before the power went out in the house, due to the circuit breaker box freezing up.
But we found ways to keep warm.

in her delicate aging, ol’ Greta has acquired a momentous visage, known colloquially as resting bitch face!
This is why shops around the world sell pillow squared national flags!

When asked why she didn’t denounce Saudi Arabia for its production of oil and its role in pollution, she could only giggle.
This girl is nothing but a media creation. Think about how this little girl from...where ever got this much media attention. I would love to know the process by which this occurred. I mean, out of a kabillion little girls, this one, with no actual knowledge, is known worldwide. It’s mind boggling.

Thundberg once said climate deniers need to be ‘’Put to the wall’’. You’re an adult, you know what she was talking about in that statement.

I actually heard a meteorologist on Accuweather say on 19 Jan that California is in a drought, as she was reviewing the reservoirs filling up and the tremendous snowfall.
