It looks like Steven Johnson, 29, from DeBary, Florida, has a bit of a voyeuristic hobby. According to Fox News, on Thursday night, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office caught him red-handed. He peeking into a woman’s window. The security video shows him snooping around when the deputies spotted him. Luckily the officers were doing extra patrols in the neighborhood at the time. The suspect tried to flee and lead them on a foot chase. But thanks to a trusty drone, they found him hiding in a nearby swampy area.
Officials revealed that Johnson lives in the neighborhood. The man also admitted to having “uncontrollable urges” to peep in woman’s windows. The deputies were not impressed with his excuse and one of them said, “It makes people uneasy. It puts a weird feeling in your gut when you find out someone’s looking at you through a window.”
Florida Man Busted Peeping:
Johnson was arrested and charged with loitering or prowling and resisting an officer without violence and is currently being held at the Volusia County Branch Jail with a $1,000 bond. But this isn’t his first brush with the law in that neighborhood. Last weekend, a resident reported that her neighbor’s camera caught an unknown male suspect peeping into her window on three occasions. It seems like Johnson needs to find a new hobby or seek professional help before he gets himself into more legal trouble.
In summary, if you’re ever in DeBary, Florida, and see someone snooping around your window, call the police, they might just catch a repeat offender like Johnson. And if you’re ever feeling the urge to peep into someone’s window, just remember, it’s not only creepy, it’s also illegal.

Most of them just have an uncontrollable urge to put an alligator in the back of a pickup truck.

in and article awhile back about ny - unbelievably, it was ruled that photographers could use zoom cameras and take pictures of people inside their houses if their curtains were open- I don’t know if that still stands or not- but hopefully not-

I had an employees daughter that had this problem. A guy would jump her fence and peek in the windows. I gave her a pistol grip pump action 12 gauge and we taught her how to handle it.
One evening the peeper came back. As he was trying to look though the blinds the girl’s friend pulled the blinds up. The guy had his nose pressed against the glass. On the other side of the glass was the end of the barrel. She pumped a round into the chamber, and inch from the guy’s nose. They said his eyes got wide and he said “no no no”. After he stepped back several steps they could see that he had peed his pants - a lot. He turned, ran towards the back of the yard and jumped the fence. He never came back.
