I don’t like Pacino’s politics or the way he has apparently lived his personal life; but he was fabulous in one of my favorite movies, ‘Scent of a Woman’.

Great actors should just shut up and act.

Keep your friends close but your enemies closer.

Fredo, I love you as a brother but never go against the family again.

Godfather 1 and 2 are on my list of all time favorites, along with Saving Private Ryan, Gone With The Wind, and Casablanca.

The Godfather was pretty good, especially with Robert De Niro.

But In Godfather II, Al Pacino played the most depressingly morose character I think I’ve ever seen on camera. Didn’t like it.

Fredo and Michael did a movie just as worthy of recognition a couple of years later... 'Dog Day Afternoon'.

It was the haircut in Godfather Part III that ruined him.

"I’m here on the ground with my nose in it since the whole thing began! I’ve nurtured every sensation man has been inspired to have! I cared about what he wanted and I never judged him. Why? Because I never rejected him, in spite of all his imperfections! I’m a fan of man! I’m a humanist. Maybe the last humanist. Who, in their right mind, Kevin, could possibly deny the 20th century was entirely mine? All of it, Kevin! All of it! Mine! I’m peaking, Kevin. It’s my time now. It’s our time."

Saw him do “Richard III” on Broadway in the late 70s. I think he tried to keep the character’s persona ahead of his own, but his fame at the time made it difficult

The HULU special on the making of the Godfather was very enlightening.

I had nothing to do with the film but play the part.”

You're right Al, you're nothing but an ultra rich, liberal hack whose only claim to fame is standing in front of a camera pretending to be someone you're not.

If you're on my TV screen, all I have to do is change the channel or turn it off and you no longer exist in my world.......
