Comedian Richard Lewis has opened up about his diagnosis with Parkinson's Disease in a Twitter video he shared on Sunday.
He said he was diagnosed two years ago and had been dealing with his health privately until now.

He’s looked very off to me for a long time.
He’s looked like walking death for years now
that is the worst punchline ever...
Doctor: I have some bad news mr tman.
tman: i can take it doc.
Doctor: you have stage 4 cancer and early onset dementia...
tman: don’t look so glum doc, at least i don’t have cancer.
I didn’t care for him as a stand up comic but I live him in Curb.
Richard Lewis has had a very long career in front of the cameras. He was always a second banana or supporting actor. An understated comic foil to bigger personalities. Never a Rodney Dangerfield razzle-dazzler type. There is room for both with the Yin/Yang balance of comedy acts.
He’s been whining about his life for years now. Now, sad to say, he has a reason
Prayers for him.
Got a call from an old friend
We used to be real close
Said he couldn’t go on the American Way
Closed his shop, sold a house, bought a ticket to the West Coast
Now he gives them the standup routine in LA
