Researchers found, however, that it is hard to replicate the nutritional content of meat.

It added that those who live in poorer communities and have a low meat intake often suffer from a number of nutrient-deficient diseases such as stunted growth, wasting and anaemia, The Telegraph reports.

Researchers in Animal Frontiers said that unprocessed meat is responsible for providing B12 vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids, and minerals, such as iron and zinc, as well as supplying retinol.

The paper suggested that the link between red meat and disease was almost eradicated when it was combined with a healthy diet, leading to the suggestion it was the rest of the diet that is the cause behind health issues.

I buy beef when it is on sale. Making stew or beef barley soup or stroganoff...

So many things you can do with it.

I think it's a lot better for you than chicken.

Cows eat plants and are fat.
Wolves eat cows and are lean.

I have always personally believed that men and woman simply have different levels of meat requirements, which would explain so much.

The space surrounding the article is filled with meat ads from local grocery stores. Just an observation.

One the authors of the peer review, Dr. Alice Stanton from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, explained that peer reviewed evidence showed that the Global Burden study’s claim was “fatally scientifically flawed”. She added: “Removing fresh meat and dairy from diets would harm human health. Women, children, the elderly and [people on] low income would be particularly negatively impacted.” …
Have to laugh at Dr. Stanton using the left’s language against them.

Well of course it is. Feel your teeth. Feel those sharp pointy ones? Now feel the ones in the front with a thin/sharp edge. What do you think those are for? Here’s a hint: they’re not for tearing up plant material.

No animal that does not eat meat would come equipped with teeth like that. Ergo, if its natural for that animal (ie us) to eat meat, its going to be healthy for that animal to do so.

And if it was an article extolling the miracles of veganism there would ostensibly be ads for beyond meat etc. You’ll never escape the advertising….. it’s mostly keyword-based these days.

Better late than never, but they should have spoken up DECADES AGO. Now it’s going to be very difficult to stop, or even slow-down, the anti-meat brigade.

Absolutely. Vegans need to back off trying to convert everyone against their will using climate legislation. It didn’t start with Cow burbs, it started with Vegans and Peta using climate as the excuse.
