Well, I was in the rock n roll concert business back in the day & the stuff was everywhere. If you had a mind to indulge there was virtually no end to the people that'd turn you on at the drop of a hat, no charge.
A dime bag of marijuana is pretty common — hence for instance “Dimebag Darrell” the moniker of the guitarist for the metal band Pantera — but my impression is that a “dime bag” of powder cocaine almost isn’t a thing since $10 is such a small amount, like almost too little to bother with I would think.
It makes me wonder if whoever said the bag is “dime sized” actually meant that it’s the size of a typical dime bag of marijuana. Obviously the substance is cocaine but maybe they were using a dime bag of marijuana as a size reference.
In the picture that was floating around when the story first broke, the bag looked like it was a fair size, not some tiny thing.

Always $10 worth, and you are exactly right, it’s not much at all. Only enough for two small lines. Or a small rock enough for only one high if smoked.

Right, it looked more like that in the pic, but I’m not sure the pic was of the actual bag. Maybe it really was some tiny dime bag of cocaine. Hard to tell at this point.

They’re acting like we should expect cocaine to be found at the White House. It’s hilarious. The Left attacked W all the time about a coke habit. The right attacked Clinton all the time about a coke habit. And it’s Joe’s WH that turns up with cocaine.
who else could get through security without being searched thoroughly? I'm sure everyone who goes to the White House has to empty their pockets and put their bags through an x-ray.
He probably left the bag out by (drug induced) mistake and a low level cleaning crew worker found it and reported it. Had it been found by secret service higher ups we would never have heard of this story.
Hope you can find that link because the first written reports said nothing about the library, if anything they implied the find wasn’t even inside the building. The library claim came out the next day.

Am I sure about what? That Hunter Biden hasn’t been included in Situation Room meetings? Yeah, I’m pretty sure about that. He has no clearance and could never get one.
Even if you have a TS compartmented clearance, you aren’t getting on the access list for the Situation Room without a documented need-to-know.
(This is a plain literal question, not sarcasm or hilarious one. I have never been a part of the drug scene, so I just do not know what quantity this would be.)

Did you look at the links I posted that showed rappers in the Situation Room?
Those were celebrity tours of the Situation Room when it was not in use. When this happens there must be so-called “shoulder-to-shoulder” escort by someone who is on the access list. I have provided such escort myself in a secure facility, though for technical people rather than celebrities.
Did someone who was cleared show the Situation Room to Hunter? Yes that probably happened in early 2021. So yes he has probably been in the room when it was not in use. Years ago.
I highly doubt the security custodian of the Situation Room SCIF acts as a political hack, regardless of who the temp is in the Oval Office.
I should have been more specific and said “Hunter does not attend official meetings in the Situation Room therefore he would have no reason to deposit personal belongings in the Situation Room phone cubby.”
The baggie may have been left there inadvertently when Joe dropped off his phone before going in the room. Even so the baggie may well be traceable to Hunter as well as Joe, by fingerprints or DNA.
