70 million for Barbie. I bet all the little girls begged their parents to go. My daughter did. Thankfully a friends Mom wanted to see it so off my daughter goes. About six of her friends went. Not an empty seat she said. She said the movie was ok with a few funny lines.

Oppenheimer might be a movie next weekend.

I don’t know. My daughter is 14. Even still. My rule is no R movies at least before her mother and I see it. We did that for our older three boys too. We saw a lot of crappy movies because of it.

Well it’s just the Friday numbers. And yes Barbie is going to finish the weekend with nearly $200 million, and Oppenheimer probably about $95. These are the event movies of the year. They’re gonna kick everybody’s butt.

Enjoy! I heard you can go to the theater and buy popcorn and take it home while you enjoy a movie in your home. I’m going to try that sometime. I do like theater popcorn even though it costs a lot and horribly unhealthy.
