Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) says he was recently shown evidence of unidentified anomalous phenomena by military personnel that included a UAP image he was “not able to attach to any human capability.”
Gaetz revealed details about the incident during a widely viewed Congressional hearing on unidentified anomalous phenomena Wednesday morning.
[...]
Gaetz was reportedly shown the image several months ago during a visit to Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, where he was accompanied by Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL).
[...]
During the hearing, Gaetz said his office received a protected disclosure of a UAP off of Eglin Air Force Base in Okaloosa County. Gaetz traveled to Eglin along with Burchett and Luna and were initially denied access to data and members of the flight crew who saw the UAP.
“We were not afforded access to all of the flight crew, and initially, we were not afforded access to images and to radar (data),” Gaetz said. “Thereafter, we had a bit of a discussion about how authorities flow in the United States of America, and we did see the image, and we did meet with one member of the flight crew who took the image.”
Gaetz said the image he saw showed an "orb" that he described as not having a "human capability" of which he was aware.
According to Gaetz’s account, the pilot had reportedly encountered what he characterized as a fleet of four UAPs “flying in a diamond formation” while conducting training exercise over the Gulf of Mexico.
The visual observations were also corroborated with radar data that personnel at Eglin Air Force Base allowed Gaetz to review.
“There is a radar sequence that I, and I alone, have observed in the United States Congress,” Gaetz said during Wednesday morning’s hearing.
According to the account the pilot provided Gaetz, as he went to investigate and came in near proximity to the objects, the approach of the UAPs apparently caused his radar system and Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) to malfunction, requiring him to have to rely on manual controls in order to obtain an image of the UAP.
When attempting to characterize the object he observed in the pilot’s photo, Gaetz said it resembled “what I can only describe as an orb,” adding that it did not appear to be “of any human capability that I’m aware of.”
“It was stated explicitly to me by these test pilots that if you have a UAP experience, the best thing you can do for your career is forget it and not tell anyone,” Rep. Gaetz said of the recent incident during Wednesday’s hearing, acknowledging the stigmas that have long prevented pilots from reporting their encounters.
“Because any type of reporting, either above the surface or below the surface, does have a perceived consequence to these people.”

If anyone wants on or off this ping list, let me know.
12 years ago (yes twelve) this guy took all the fun out of UFO/ET talk.
They had to call the House Armed Services Committee Chairman Mike Rogers, who in turn had to call the Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall III to finally intervene with a phone to the Eglin AFB general.
They got the access they sought.
Drones in general took all the fun out of it.
(Swamp Gas is very grateful...)
As pilots are saying, it doesn't matter whether these UFO's are non-human or belong to our adversaries...we have a national security problem until we can determine what to do about them.
He saw a fuzzy photo that was unexplainable
Bahahahahaha
I’ve seen a thousand!
I find it disconcerting that a U.S. Congressman would have initially been denied access to that info. and have to argue his way in.
That indicates to me that there are likely groups out there that are secretly operating unseen, way in the background.
Dolphins, then.
So are you saying that the Pentagon should just let drones (possibly belonging to our adversaries) fly in our airspace and secure naval air training areas?
Let’s see the footage of the drone flying above Mach 1.
How about just 300 knots?
Unless all those pilots are lying.
+1000
Thumbs down to Gaetz for spending one minute on this Deep State distraction nonsense.
The USAF seems to be at the center of the problem. Others have said that the DOE is right there with the Air Force.
“we have a national security problem until we can determine what to do about them.”
Meanwhile the aliens are trying to determine what to do about us.
;-)
Just because it *looks* solid doesn’t mean it is.
It is interesting to see how some folks on FR react to the subject of UFO's. I am reminded of the stages of grief/loss. The threat of a major paradigm shift or loss of one's perception of reality can cause the same kind of reaction. Here are the five stages:
A lot of people on FR are still in the Denial, Anger stage. You can see it in their irrational comments. Their minds are closed, their comments are emotional, not logical, and they often display some anger at those who disagree with them and at the subject of the threads themselves.
- Denial
- Anger
- Bargaining
- Depression
- Acceptance
As an aside, it is worth mentioning that the above-listed stages don't have clearly-defined borders--they bleed into each other. A person may be in denial and be quite angry at the same time. Or even be in denial and already depressed about the issue under consideration.
Let me know when Japan has a drone that can fly at Mach 8, come to a halt, then turn 90 degrees and instantly accelerate to Mach 8 again.
“groups out there that are secretly operating unseen, way in the background.”
