Leonard Nimoy did a cover of “Proud Mary”. It’s... strange.

I didn't read the article (this IS FR after all) - but how can that not be #1?

How is LB’s “Faith” in the “worst” category? Sure beats the original, and I’m not a LB fan.

Sad to say that I did read that article and had no idea of better than half of the “artists” listed and the songs.

His cover of “Rocketman” is classic.

Love his version.

John Belushi did a great impersonation.

Any act or song that is more novelty/obscure than professional/established shouldn’t be on a list like this. Madonna covering a genuine hit badly? Sure. Shatner covering a Beatles experiment in Shatner-speak? I don’t think so.

Oh boy, a 70 year old woman singing that gives me bad quivers.

The studio band wasn't that bad, though.

Although I like British band leader Ted Heath's version of Oakie Boogie, with Lita Roza doing the vocal, I prefer the original version by Jack Guthrie & His Oklahomans. Lita's version pleasant to listen to, but Jack's version will make you want to get up and dance.
