Rain and flooding. I’m sure they’ll be spots the flood but they have some good drainage. I imagine the storm wash away a lot of trash, be an improvement for the whole area.
Made the mistake of checking in with the weather channel earlier. Obviously it’s a full blown global warming meltdown over there.

I have a recording of a broadcast of the Old Fashioned Revival Hour, a religious program, that took place during the 1939 hurricane. the power was out in the studio, but the transmitter still worked, so the show went on. Much of the broadcast consisted of choral music, and the singers had to try to read their music by candlelight, as did the preacher, Charles Fuller. But they pulled it off.

We live about an hour’s drive north of SF.
Last night we kept hearing big jets flying north.
This morning on my 1 mile walk, 2 big jets flew over and were headed north.
We couldn’t figure out what was happening, then it dawned on us that they were flying big planes up north to get them away from this potential hurricane.
Sprinkles near Redondo Beach. It might accumulate an inch or so per the weather sites. Sure Palm Springs and Vegas are getting rain but the coastal area isn’t really going to get a years worth of rain 😂

That is about 40 miles from me but you could still feel it quite a bit in the San Fernando valley.
